The voyo is much better on paper… Double the ram, much better screen, BUT unless you’re willing to go through all the tutorials on here to make it work fully and get rid of the chinese crap… I’d look for something else. Its still slow for everything… Oh, and the voyo has android too…

It won’t replace a real laptop.

For the charging issue… Try going in the device manager and uninstalling the battery and the AV adapter… I forget what their called, but their towards the top of the devices. Then scan for hardware changes… They should reinstall. Check your battery icon on bottom right of screen. Hope this fixes your problem.  I’ve heard you have to do a few power cycles for it to read the time left accurately.

Trust me. I bought both versions of m.2 and it’s the b-key old style ones with 6 pins. Msata is way to big.

It’s not a msata. Too big. I’ve tried an m.2 and it fits, just won’t recognize it. A mod on here said it was originally for the 3G modem. It can be used for accessories and not hdd.

I did. Use chrome on that website. Right click translate. When you go to make an account, I was able to change the country to USA and use my own phone number to make an account. Easy. Got a text with a verification code all in Chinese, but the number I had to enter into the website was in numbers and I used them. Boom done. Downloaded.

I never used it, recommend fresh install of Windows 10.

just remember to right click and translate 😉

Is that what happens when you try to get into the bios?

Maybe open the bottom and disconnect the battery? Maybe that could reset the bios?

I dont know without seeing and knowing what you’re doing or what you did to delete it…

I tried to no avail… I guess it’s like Chris said above, not for a hard drive… Just accessories.

how is your Emmc dead? You try downloading Windows on a sub and re-installing?

    These are my ideas…

    1. Make sure your laptop is plugged in. (I sometimes think mine won’t boot, but somehow left it on so it was dead)
    2. There’s got to be a way to tell if you’re in the bios… Can you go in a dark room and see if when you turn it on, the backlight for the screen turns on?
    3. If you take it apart you could maybe unplug the battery… Hold down power for like 30 seconds and then reconnect the battery? Might reset it. I opened mine and I didn’t see any bios battery… Just  a bunch of screws and then the bottom needs to be gently pulled apart (lots of snaps)
    4. If you get into the “newest bios”
    5. Push down arrow (x5)
    6. enter
    7. right(x1)
    8. down (x2) this will select “video config”
    9. enter
    10. “GOP driver” will be selected.
    11. enter (to select)
    12. enter again (to enable)
    13. f10 (to save and exit)
    14. enter
    15. enter (the end. hopefully that helps)

    OR

    1. an easier way is to just try an load defaults
    2. get in bios
    3. right (x5)
    4. down (x3) for optimal settings or down (x4) for “custom default”
    5. enter
    6. enter
    7. f10
    8. enter
    9. enter

I hope this is clearer than mud. Sorry but thats all I got!! Good luck!

Have you messed with any settings in the bios? I know that I installed a legit version of Windows10 Home on my Voyo and only installed the Wifi drivers (yes a pain, but there are posts on here about it), and then let windows update find all the drivers it could online. THEN I only installed the things that were needed through the Device Manager (only a few “!” were left after Windows did its thing. I did not install the Voyo camera drivers because they aren’t signed and Windows throws a fit when trying to install. I wonder if they’re hacked or trojans or something. My Voyo works like a boss now. No beeps.

Maybe in the bios I think I saw something about screen brightness… Don’t remember. If in doubt, try to set bios to the optimal settings and reboot. Worked when I was having problems with the intel drivers…

I deleted my entire hdd (android too, cause I don’t care about android and wanted the space back) and installed Windows home 64bit straight from Microsoft’s website with their usb-bootable media maker… Didn’t even need a license since Windows 10 activated online already so my hardware is registered with Microsoft I guess.

I then installed the wifi only and let Windows update find all the drivers it could. Anything it couldn’t find, I used the drivers from here.

Everything is perfect. I installed the new bios and it’s still perfect, if not better.

you might want to say what version of Windows you have and what you did to it to make it messed up, so that we can help.

Hey Sergio, just copy the whole address I posted and past it into Chrome. (The hyperlink won’t work because of the “space” in the word “Win Pad”… Trust me it works. I use chrome so that I can just “right-click” on the page and select “translate to make the page in english 😉

*** Please use at your own risk!! I’m not responsible for your stuff. I know this worked on mine… I even redid the steps and flashed my bios 3 times typing this to be sure!!

The bios file is in the first link on that page.

    1. Click blue square with arrow pointing down.
    2. Double-click the folder named “A1Plus(with some chinese characters)”
    3. Last file at the bottom named “20151208 (chinese characters)bios” is the file you want.
    4. Select it (click the box on the left of the file) and download it (click the grey button at the top with the “arrow pointing down, with a line under it”).
    5. A pop-up may pop up and just click the one on the right (I believe… if not, the right one)… wait a bit and it should start down loading.

    To install.

    1. First off, I don’t really trust all these asian softwares and drivers (especially the un-signed drivers) and the fact my voyo already had an account on it when I received it O_o And, this file in the bios folders “H2OUVE-W-Q2S.exe” was called a virus or trojan by my system!
    2. So I installed the bios my own way.
    3. The “FlashBios” file didn’t work for me. So I used the file in the “Tools” folder called “H2OFFT-Wx64”. (Found through trial and error). The file named “H2OFFT-W” works too… Maybe just a 32bit and a 64bit version of the files…
    4. After I double-click it, the flash program starts and it says the bios rom can’t be found.
    5. I forget where I found this, but I saw it needed a “.fd” file. The bios file is in “.bin”, so I changed the extension to “.fd” and moved the bios file into the folder with all the tools and BOOM! it flashed.
    6. BONUS: My Intel drivers would never update or allow me to update them with the Intel Update Utility. After updating the bios, they updated through windows.
    7. Hope this helps. I’m not a wiz… More like an expert at Google ;P

    http://www.myvoyo.com/xiazai/Win Pad/A1 PLUS qijianban/down/

It’s the first link “A1 PLUS driver package collection “… I believe. Download that and unzip it. It will be mostly in Chinese, but look for the folder that says “bios”. Let me know when you got this and I’ll walk you through it. You can’t just install like it seems. I even had a virus alert on one of the files…

I don’t trust the Chinese files and I didn’t like that my Voyo A1 Plus Ultimate already had a profile created on it when I got it. That’s the main reason I slicked it and re-installed Windows. Just trying to be safe.

Hey guys, I just updated my bios with the files from the myvoyo website. All is good and I got a bonus out of the deal!!

    1. Bios is now in HD (super small).
    2. Looks like there are a few more things to mess with in the bios.
    3. After I installed the new bios, My intel graphics finally updated on its own!! NIIIICCCCCEEEE!!! It would always fail before, even with the intel update utility!!

So, for a recap: Installed clean Windows 1o, have everything working and updated the bios. I’m getting pretty good B)

NEXT UP: The myvoyo website has a new touch screen driver to allow a stylus to be used like in the V3!! Might try it, because I have a stylus from my Dell Venue 8 Pro ;P

    1. Anyone know what that empty slot is on the mobo? I think its m.2 sata…
    2. Anyone know how to enable it in the bios?
    3. Anyone know how to unlock the bios and show all the options?

    Thanks!!

Hi again. I have managed to download the Voyo A1 Ultimate Disk Image, Stylus driver, etc from that baidu website.  If someone needs any files I can use powerISO to search the ISO for them.

Anyone know where the drivers are located? Through powerISO it just looks like a C:/ drive with all the normal folder (users, system, etc…)

PS: I just used an app on my phone to create a phone number, and then signed up through the baidu website using chrome (right click—> translate). The files were like 4gb so I just downloaded them all night. Pretty reliable too.

    I hope this helps someone.
