What steps did you take to improve the Touchscreen? I would love to try them out on my Chuwi Tablet.

    Thanks in advance,

    Alex

Ok, I just updated my bios. I used an OTG cable to connect my USB Stick, but I used my keyboard dock to type. The install went well, but at the end it gave me some “XYZ is not compatible error” and I got dumped into a shell. I just typed “exit” into it and the tablet rebooted into Windows mode.

    Thanks for the help

Hey Konstantin, great work on this. I finally got it to work by updating my adb install.

Different question: Do you think it is possible to make a 6.0 marshmallow rom for the HiBook? It would be so cool…

Wait, there is a pre-applied screen protector under the cover?

Can you use the keyboard dock while flashing the bios or do you need a USB OTG?

Are these the instructions you followed? Sorry if I’m being a bit obnoxious here, I just don’t want to kill my new tablet.

Any developments on this front? I would love to root my HiBook but this all seems a bit sketchy…

Have you tried using a more bleeding edge distro like Arch/Antergos. It should come with the latest kernel and drivers and offer the best compatibility with the new Hardware in the Chuwi

Any word on this yet? It seems that all the new cherry Trail tablets don’t support Android Dual OS, which is pretty important to me and I’m worried.
