November 30, 2016 at 4:41 pm #57912Ok just to let you know where I am at. I am almost there. It took a bit of finagling, maybe because I already had TWRP and remix is installed. So I just started with installing original android with you gpt_o4g.bin. It installed but it somehow wiped out TWRP so I had to reinstall that and then put Remix OS back. Which is all good now. Now when I am trying to install Win 10 it seems like the install is not seeing the 16gb Ntfs thumb drive as I get an error that it cannot find \scripts\main.cmd. I thought maybe it was because it was Ntfs format and windows isn’t installed yet so I tried formatting fat32 but then the install.wim is 6gb too large for single file under fat32. Any ideas? I am so close!!! Lol!!!
thanks,
john
November 28, 2016 at 11:59 pm #57777Hi Phillip. Thanks for your post. You have done exactly what I have been looking to do for quite some time now. I was wondering if you might have some insight if there may be an easier route for me to get where you are. I presently have my Cube iWork8 ultimate with TWRP installed and RemixOS installed and running and windows 10 installed and running. I would love to just somehow accomplish the partition resize without completely starting from scratch and I was wondering if you might know of a way for me to do that? If not then can you guide me through your directions a bit and explain which steps I might be able to skip since I already have TWRP installed. Thanks for any guidance you can give.
Thanks,
John
March 17, 2016 at 2:49 pm #29788Is there any way to edit dual boot files to change the partition sizes to allocate less to android and a bit more to Windows 10?

March 11, 2016 at 1:35 am #28787Now that I have Windows 10 seeing the 32gb micro as card I am so close to being able to install the Windows 10 1511 update but it keeps telling me I need 5gb free on c: to do the update and after clearing everything I can think of I only have 4.44gb. So close yet so far! Any ideas welcome.
Thanks,

March 4, 2016 at 1:04 am #27926Hi Waynelim. Is your Windows 10 Home activated? Do you want dual boot or just upgraded Windows?
Thanks,

March 3, 2016 at 11:08 am #27866Hi guys and girls! New to this board and new to this dual boot chinese tablet stuff but I came across an issue and a resolution that I thought might help some of you out so I thought I would share it. I purchased a Cube iWork8 Ultimate from Banggood and it was Windows 10 only. It came and was working great with an Activated copy of Windows 10 Pro 32 bit but I really wanted dual OS. So I downloaded the dual boot ROM files and followed the directions found here and a few other places that were translated to English. It worked perfectly except for one thing. I now had a Dual Boot Tablet with Android 5.1 and Windows 10 Home 64 bit but it was not activated! After searching around a bit I figured out that it would not activate because it was activated already with Pro not Home edition of Windows 10. Then I stumbled onto this:
On the Microsoft Community Forums, Charles of Microsoft says:
From your Windows 10 Home running Version 1511, enter the Windows 10 Pro Default key under change product key.
VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
This default key will not activate the system, just take you to Pro so you can activate using a valid Pro key that you will provide.
Once you have done this, the system will go through an upgrade process from Home to Pro, but will not be activated on Pro.
I figured what the heck I would give it a shot! What do you know it worked! My tablet now has Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and activated! I assume it activated because Microsofts activation servers knew that it was previously activated with Pro!
Hope this helps someone else!
Thanks,
John
