This happens in Windows 10 (not version 1511) during standby. I’ve got a K9C6 with the original (1.05?) BIOS.

I’ve got the same problem. The Screen turns on while charging. So with a 2A Charger the Tablet won’t be full at any time..

Anyone else? Or someone with a solution/Workaround?

Great thing…but there is no chance to get a USB3-Port by this mod, isn’t it?

Can you get in BIOS by windwos?

    1. Open Settings, and click/tap on the Update & security icon.
    2. Click/tap on Recovery on the left side, and click/tap on Restart now under Advanced startup.
    3. After the PC restarts, click/tap on Troubleshoot.
    4. Click/tap on Advanced options.
    5. Click/tap on UEFI Firmware Settings.
    6. Click/tap on Restart to boot into your UEFI firmware settings.

    Yeah, it should work!

I use this Combo, because its much cheaper in germany:

With my other Tablet (Lenovo Thinkpad 8) i could use one free USB-Port of the dock to charge my tablet. But the X98 needs more Power to hold the battery level…

    Hi Dennis!

“Never touch a running system”…so you are fully right. But to limit the CPU max to 95% can’t be wrong in my eyes. And i like to play with my new baby so will test these additional mods. 🙂 But the BIOS Update sounds very dangerous so in this case i dont do anything! 😎

@Dennis: Two days ago I set the IGD Turbo off and since then my tablet is total stable. Also windows task manager shows cpu rates until 2,4 GHz so I don’t now what turbo off stands for…

Today i will change the cooling policy to passive and set the max cpu to 95%. But as i said before: My system is already stable!

@ARnold welcome! Spread the word! Maybe Teclast picks it up and fixes it. What kind of problem do you have with the display driver? I never had problems with that, not with the driver that came with the tablet nor with the one I got after running this Intel Driver utility tool I heard about here on the forums

Tanks for the warm welcome! – I was thinking, that the problem with the display driver is known: Even Surface3-users reports this problem that the display driver crashes several times. When this happens windows will show a message and the screen is black for a short time. Then everythins is quite normal…

I will try to install the newest driver and i will deactivate the automatic installation by windows. Thanks for the tipps! – One question: What is the newest driver version? 15.xxx.x…
