I had the same issue and the problem was that the boot loader was not working in a E6N1. I could find a tutorial to reinstall it, but it was a couple of years ago and I don’t have the link.

In case you can open your tablet, could you send me a picture with that component? Maybe the label is more clear in your tablet (just because the component is not burnt).
May 5, 2019 at 8:32 pm #151629Hi DaniΓ©l,
I used the typical tools to open mobiles, tablets, etc… and I started from the bottom, placing the tools that is like a guitar pick between the screen (white part) and the rear (metal part). Then I moved the pick to open the tablet from that part to one of the sides, then from the bottom to the other side and the top part just disassembled because the other 3 were already done. I was not too careful and it opened fine, no cracks at all. The battery and mainboard are attached to the screen side, so the rear can be easily removed because it hasn’t got any connection.
This is the second time I have to open the tablet (the first one was to check the micro-sd reader, but I could not fix it) so maybe this time was easier (I don’t remember the first time xD).
Hope this helps!

August 6, 2017 at 2:47 pm #70187Hi,
In my case micro SD is not working neither in Windows nor in Android. In Windows I can see the common error code 10 and in Android I can’t even mount the SD. Does anyone know how to verify if this is a software or hardware issue?
Thanks!

This is the latest time that I buy a tablet to a Chinese brand. I failed with Pipo and now with Teclast. All the people say that one of the pros is the community support but they release a new tablet every six months and once the new version is available nobody cares about the previous ones.
August 16, 2016 at 5:42 pm #47039Hi,
I had the issue in the past in Windows, but it was solved (I think I solved that reinstalling the drivers). One month ago I was not able to read any card in Windows ( it plays the typical song when a card is inserted but it’s not really detected), I tried the W8 drivers and even to reinstall the new ones but no luck, one week after that even in Android the SD card was not working, it somehow detected the card and immediately pops a message saying that the card can be safely removed. I tried multiple cards (no luck) and these cards work with a USB card reader connected to the tablet (so this is not a card fault).
I’m using the W10 as it arrived and mirek190 v3 for Android.
Regards
August 15, 2016 at 8:45 am #46870My Teclast is doing the same. First Windows could not detect the SD (although it plays the typical sound when a SD card is inserted) and one week after Android decided to not to detect the SD card neither. I’ve opened a support ticket to the shop were I bought the Teclast.
June 14, 2016 at 7:42 pm #40993Finally I decided to buy the hub recommended by Eduardo because I want to use the tablet like a laptop too….. but it does not work ? Did anyone find the way to use a powered usb otg hub?
May 28, 2016 at 8:25 am #38884What is the difference with the original one????
May 16, 2016 at 2:12 pm #37549Hi,
I realized that the touch screen does not work as fine in Android (mirek190 v3) as in Windows. Does anyone else have the same feeling?
Regards!
May 15, 2016 at 9:00 pm #37468Any update on this? It looks like the BIOS way is not safe….
May 2, 2016 at 7:39 am #35788Hi,
I’m facing similar issues. I bought a tempered glass protector from banggood and the touchscreen was terrible (this protector hasn’t got any hole for the camera, it seems that there is one with a hole that works fine). I replaced it with a non-glass protector and now it’s much better although not compared to my other Asus tablet…. It is strange because I downloaded o typical touchscreen test and it seems to be fine there (I’m running mirek190 3.0)
Regarding the stylus I have the Chinese copy of the adonit jot, I’ll test it and let you know. -> EDIT: tested, it’s horrible! It was not an incredible tool in my Asus tablet but here I wan hardly draw 2 points when I try to draw a line…….
Regards

May 1, 2016 at 8:01 pm #35745Great! this is my third tablet and the third one that does not fully support OTG HUB chargers! π I’ve found out that in Aliexpress some sellers mention that this HUB&chargers are not supported by X98 plus tablets…
Any update? Is there any device that works with the X98 plus? I have the typical 4port HUB and it works with another tablet (it keeps the battery level, but can’t charge), with an ASUS charger and a good cable, but no luck…
March 20, 2016 at 11:12 pm #30194Hi Chris,
Thanks for your feedback. I don’t really need a keyboard, I will only read PDFs and watch videos π In fact I have a Vivotab with Stylus that I usually use as notepad. Also (unfortunatelly) most of the videos depend on a applications that is currentry only supported in Android and IOS so I need Android or dual-boot tablets π
Is the same the Ultimate and the Flagship? I can’t almost find information about the ultimate… Is it a dual-boot tablet? I’ve seen this one -> http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_325534.html
EDIT -> Found! It looks like it’s a Win only tablet, the Flagship is dual boot, is the same hardware? -> http://www.banggood.com/Cube-Iwork10-Ultimate-64GB-Intel-Atom-x5-Z8300-Quad-Core-10_1-Inch-Windows-10-Tablet-PC-p-1024954.html?zf=354812&p=JQ26063548122013115Y
Are the battery and Wifi performance better in the Cube than in the Teclast? Based on yout experience, are the z8300 and z3735 good enough to support web browsing and video playing/streaming without lag? Forget about the games (the games that I usually play run in a PiPo Max M1 :))
PS: congrats on your website, by far this is where I found the best and most accurate information about Chinese tablets π
Thanks!
