Holy Guacamole, I just found pics of the replacement keyboard they sent me.  This is a first that I used my brain. Please let me know if you can make out the numbers, my eyes can’t focus in that well.

If you can’t, I’ll open up my laptop.   So please let me know either way

I had fun with this PC.  I’ve had it over a year, my first budget Chinese tablet.  Great little sucker, but I learned a lot .I’ve had to reformat at least 2 times a month.  I can reinstall a perfect custom OS in 45 mins .

It’s time I upgrade to something with at least 16gb.  Unless you know how to rig this one ?

Ok… I opened up the back of mine and I did not see anything that resembles what you sent me…  I just took off the back cover.. I’m afraid if I dimantle it further, I wont be able to recover..  When gearbest sent me the replacement keyboard I took it to a PC repair shop here in Phoenix that put in in for $5.   If you can tell me how to get to the ribbon, then I know where I’m looking for.  Attached are the pics of when I open mine.

I find it remarkable that Gearbest wont have a replacement dispatched to you..  If they cant locate one, how the heck are we supposed to find one.

The one on Amazon is coming from a drop ship company in China.  Maybe if you contact them via their Amazon link they might give you a discount since its been in their inventory for sometime, unmoved and if you are closer to them than I am.   If not, have Gearbest get it from them..  You need to make them honor their written warranty..  If worse case senerio… ship your back to Gearbest for a full refund and check out those new Bmax Y11 and Bmax Y13, there are on the same line as the F5  but better specs, reviews and much lower price.

Let me know how you would like to proceed?

Good day.. I was trying to respond to you sooner, but I was unable to login.  Amazon has 1 keyboard left https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07L89BKNB/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_GdjHDbY28A18D

Mine gave out a few months ago and it was a nightmare finding a replacement.  I searched for individual keys.. nothing…  keyboards.. nothing.   I finally complained to Gearbest so much the finally sent me a replacement keyboard. (This took well over a month and a half).

The day I received the keyboard from Gearbest I noticed this keyboard on Amazon for sale.  Its been there for a few months…  It looks like the last one I can locate. I hope it helps.

    Good Day… I use this one https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P12MN5F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It’s $19.99 USD on Amazon…   In my case I only can use a USB Type C 3.1 gen 2 cable or else the laptop goes into poltergeist mode..  Hope it helps

Good day…  Sorry to hear of your troubles, but it seems that your issues fall under the parameters of the 1 year warranty.

My F5, about same age of yours, the keys started coming off.  I hounded GearBest for about a week, escalating the issue as far as I could. I requested the exact verbage of their 1 year warranty that deemed my issue as NOT COVERED. They could not. I had to send mine to an office in California and paid $20 to have a replacement expidited and received it here in Phoenix in 2 days.

    I was firm, but cordial.

It took effort on my part. With the time difference, language barrier and always speaking with different representatives. Request 1 designated supervisor personally handle your case.

From what I remember of the warranty I don’t recall an issue like your not being covered.  I can’t see any company that would deny your claim unless there is external neglegent handling on your part.

If you have the time, huge bottle of asprin, I would fight.

Good luck, sorry for the rambling!

Good Day Nimda….  I’m on my 2nd F5…. Love the things… first one was addicted to coffee and spilled and fried it…  Gearbest replaced it, no questions because it was within the time frame.. But I have had no issues like that on either laptop…  sometimes I accidentally leave the Fn +NumLk engaged and I get odd keystrokes until I wake up and realize what I have done.  Have you tried updating your drivers?…  TechTablets have the originals online.  Its a pain.. but I got mine all running great and use the intel driver updates…  https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html    to keep my pc updated… the only other issuses I had is 2 of my keys popped of due to rubbing a dusting clothe too hard and having to get replacement keys and hinges..

But, yours sounds like some odd thing…   One thing I did have to do was to reset my bios… which is not fun, but that fixed alot of my issues… I’m not too computer literate, so I screw things up bad easily..  The Teclast F5 is a fun little sucker… I really enjoy it…

I hope someone out there can help.  My input is probably not what your looking for, but I thought I give my little 2 cents..

    Enjoy Your Day!
