March 20, 2019 at 8:16 pm #150867Realize this is a thread rez situation, but I’d been wondering the same thing and just found this page, which was mentioned by the poster above in a different thread: https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/w/wakefield/individual-heat-pipes I’m planning on measuring which length will fit once I get a chance to crack open the case, but I’m definitely going to bookmark this now that I know they exist.
Thanks for this info on heat pipes…I just learned something…great find!
March 4, 2019 at 3:43 pm #150690Try a program Driver Easy…….

February 20, 2019 at 5:10 pm #150535I reinstalled Windows on my Teclast years ago. What worked for me was to use a driver program that checks every driver on the device and finds the replacements. I used a program DRIVER EASY…I think you can try it free….good luck…
May 6, 2017 at 4:32 am #66574Did you disconnect the power from the BIOS completely? A reset is not the same thing.
Here is a breakdown of the interior of the Intel Compute Stick, and you can see there is a CMOS battery in there…disconnect the tiny connector to the coin battery, count to 10 and reconnect.
May 5, 2017 at 5:23 am #66537Opem the unit with a credit card and guitar pick. Then disconnect the battery plug connector…this will reset the bios and the menu you want will then appear. Good luck…
I just re-read your post and see your problem is with an Intel stick…whatever that is…so not sure how you’re going to fix that…but it may be the same as I posted.
January 12, 2017 at 4:24 pm #60323I had dual boot turned off. I opened my X98 Pro, disconnected the battery…waited a minute and reconnected the battery. The unit started to show the dual boot option again.
December 27, 2016 at 2:28 am #59310I just noticed mine flashing also. I had a program left on when the computer was idling, so I shut the program off and the flashing stopped.
I suggest you look at Windows Task Manager and see what program is using disk activity…I think that’s what turns on the screen.
I just got the solution…I had the power button set to sleep tablet, but that is too sensitive for the screen to react and momentarily turn on, so I went to control panel, power options, change what the power buttons do, and set tablet to Hibernate. Now the tablet will never flash while charging.
October 16, 2016 at 6:15 am #54994I’m using cheap china bluetooth keyboard…hum…I think I tried USB, but I’ll check it again. I would think the USB would have worked.
Thanks alot…
October 15, 2016 at 2:53 pm #54963I opened the tablet, and disconnected the battery (unsoldered one of the power wires to the battery).
After reconnecting the battery, the boot menu selection for switching the operating system returned.
October 15, 2016 at 2:42 pm #54962Has anyone OPENED the tablet and check if the wires to the antenna are soldered correctly? It’s easy to open the tablet with no damage with a guitar pick.
October 15, 2016 at 2:34 pm #54960Anyone?
October 6, 2016 at 6:09 am #53035You can boot to BIOS by doing this…
go to Windows settings, Update & Security, Recovery, Advanced Startup (restart now), Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, UEFI Firmware Settings…Restart..voila…BIOS SCREEN.September 22, 2016 at 4:46 am #50398BEWARE THE ABOVE SETTINGS WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ACCESSING YOUR BIOS AGAIN:
So I did these bios settings and SCREWED UP my Teclast Pro…because of the screen timeout setting of 1, and the QUICK BOOT setting. The Windows startup is so very fast – and the internal keyboard that shows up passes by too fast to click the F7 key for getting into BIOS..
So…if this happens to your tablet, you can boot to BIOS by doing…go to Windows settings, Update & Security, Recovery, Advanced Startup (restart now), Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, UEFI Firmware Settings…Restart..voila…BIOS SCREEN.
Then set the boot options to:
FAST BOOT should be DISABLED <– which allows the built-in display keyboard to appear, if needed during boot.
Setup Prompt Timeout: 10 <– which allows enough time to click the keyboard during boot.
IGD Turbo Enable: Enabled <– This makes the tablet snappy and FAST!REMOVING Teclast DUAL BOOT MENU:
If dual boot menu appears, after BIOS reset…Upper right corner is windows and Android…UNCHECK the BOX, then (click Windows?) and OK..
July 11, 2016 at 8:02 pm #43165I successfully performed a Macrium Backup on my Teclast Pro. I did need to use a WIRED MOUSE!
As a side note, another tip is that I changed the screen resolution to 1152 x 854 for better life and faster response…I’ll keep trying different resolutions.Tried also..1024 x 768
Let me know if you were successful too.
