Well here is my total disappointment with my first order from Gearbest:
Order placed on DECEMBER 18, 2015
Flat Rate shipping is 10-25 business days. Expidited shipping is 4-7 business days and cost just an extra $8.53
I elect to go with the expedite shipping. (btw my order is a keyboard and two iPhone cases. )
They SHIP my order on DECEMBER 29, 2015. I know it was over Christmas, so I can’t be too mad. However they don’t ship it expedited, they ship it flat rate, and tell me I will get it in the next 10-25 business days. Wait a second… but I paid for faster shipping. So I email them (claim ticket).
They tell me it’s already shipped and they can’t change it. And I will get it in 10-25 business days. Have a great day. Ticket closed.
But wait, I PAID for extra, so I submit another ticket telling them they owe me $8.53, and send them a copy of the transaction and a copy of their email showing they didn’t ship it expedited.
They respond with, “No refund is due because flat rate shipping is no charge.” Have a great day. Ticket closed.
Are you F’ing kidding me? No joke. Since we obviously have a communication problem, I have submitted another ticket, asking them to explain the difference between paying for something, and getting it free, with my receipt attached of course.
Oh, and it is January 29th, 2016 now. They tracking number they provided shows it actually never left China until January 9th, 2016 and now shows: “20/01/16 20:44 Order received into final destination country” . Currently on day 42 of original order being placed, and still not received item which was supposed to have shown up within 4-7 business days.
First and last order with Gearbest.

Good work
January 18, 2016 at 6:12 pm #22901The problems that were listed in the original post are an exact copy of the problems I had. Every single one.
In fact I even did the DPI change that was originally suggested too.
I did a complete factory reset of Windows and that cleared up my driver issue on the video card.
I got the USB 2.5mm plug in and just used my phone’s usb adapter to charge it. Seemed to do the trick (however it is slightly slower to charge).
I also lost screen rotation and WI-FI in both android and windows, it turned out it was something going on with the boot order in bios. No clue why.
It’s a decent machine once the bugs get sprayed with Raid.
December 25, 2015 at 9:43 pm #19947Regarding my purchase, it was Aliexpress seller Shenzhen OKQI Electronics Mall . They have a 22,000+ rating with 97.3% positive, yet there biggest issue seems to be communication and shipping. I’ve sent almost a dozen emails and messages and one response has been given which was to reset everything. When I told them I did that and it made it worse, they haven’t said a single thing. I even got them on chat one night and they wouldn’t answer even come up with a Hello. Worst seller ever.
Spilled water on my keyboard, and already lost 4 keys functioning, so I ordered another one this time with Gearbest. (ordered it 6 days ago and it’s still “processing”. )
I will be eventually looking for a new rom to replace this one. So since my tablet is already more finicky than others, I don’t mind being the guinea pig test pilot.
December 16, 2015 at 5:46 pm #18845Update:
- Turns out the charger is defective. I did some google searching and just decided to go with a lower amp charger.
- Finally got ahold of my seller. I was told to do a factory restore in Windows to fix the display driver issue. Fine why not. Did it and now I have ZERO Wi-Fi on both android and Windows. I also have ZERO rotation ability (G-Sensor) . Got the Win10 Drivers from here, and so far nothing has brought my Wi-Fi or sensors back. Did a restore on Android as well. Nothing has changed.
What a lemon.December 7, 2015 at 12:51 am #17800Just got mine a few days ago. It’s a legit, full functioning version of Win 10 that is shipped. If you can do it on a laptop, you can do it here. Now just mind you that the 64gb is already portioned into 2 drives, so plan on buying an extra card (supports up to 128gb) and that the extra space will only be visible in windows, not android.
