    An update on my order: PayPal has decided to close my case, since GearWorst has sent some USB cables but not the other 650 USD I ordered.
    GearWorst has sent me 2 weeks ago they will refund my money to PayPal, but haven’t done so.

    So from the 11th of November till now, I’ve succeeded in listening to a lot of lies and blowing the only PayPal chance of getting my money back.

    Hello,

    GearBest cannot be trusted.
    I ordered a 300 USD smartphone that I never received.
    Here follows what they answer me.
    Really unfair trading practices.
    It seems that, for gearbest, you are responsible of the delivery 🙂

    I have ordered many things Gearbest, Zidoo x9 TV box, LED Bulbs, external batteries, xiaomi gamepad, chuwi Hi10, and all me have sent smoothly, the only problem I’ve had is a smart watch preorder  , it lasted 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, after the date they promised to send the product, at the end i cancelled , they refund my money in 1 week , my only advice is NOT BUY at preorder,i heard many friends of mine with problems with preorders.

    I also ordered a lot of things before without problems.

    But when there is a problem in delivery, we cannot rely on gearbest.

    This is really unfair business practices.

    I also used Gearpest about 8 times in the past, all ok but the 9th time, I received my tablet looking like the dogs dinner. Box was all chewed up and inside you could clearly see that the tablet had been used, it had marks on it and the back screen protector was halfway peeled off. Also, my 10th order was never shipped as it was “out of stock” even though there were over 50 units in stock when I ordered it. I waited for 5 weeks, during that time Gearpest also had a sale with a special price on my item but still saying “out of stock” when I asked them. I cancelled the order, Gearpest said they would give me store credit (wallet) so I had to contact my bank as I paid with my VISA card to get the money refunded to my card. Banggood is much better!

    BTW. I would be seriously upset if the courier would loose my order and the seller would not give a full refund! Again, contact your bank/card issuer and explain that you paid for goods/services that were never received.

    No doubt Gearpest will claim the value of the lost item from the courier

    Welcome to the family of gearbest hater !

    What I did also is to write a two pages letter to the Chinese Embassy in my country (France) just telling them the situation and saying that this will stop the business with China. Then I wrote the same letter to the Ministry of Commerce in China 🙂

    One thing : did you pay with Paypal ? In this case, you may be refunded by Paypal. Despite fo what gearbest.com says, never withdraw your case with Paypal because it would be definitive.

    I just want share experience.

    I have bought 3 separate things from gearbest and they have arrived within 2 weeks to Australia even with the busy season.

    They also give store credit cause of the price protection,  I bought the Teclast x16 pro and the price dropped.

     

    I was worried about not buying the insurance too but they have all arrived fine.

    These are good news for you.

    I have another problem wit gearbest. I paid with Paypal and Paypal said they will refund me If I don’t get the product.

    When I complain wit gearbest, they said I have to discuss wit gearbest until 28/01.

    Then gearbest says they will resend the product if I close the case on Paypal.

    But Paypal says that I must not close the case until I am fully satisfied (because I wil not be able to reopen it).

    So I say no. But gearbest insisted… I still say no and now they don’t answer my messages.

    Stupid gearbest !

    Hi Guys,

    As we seem to have plenty of negative experiences with gearbest i will share my positive experience buying a chuwi hi8 pro that i ordered on 17th was shipped on 25th in the afternoon and by the 26th dhl was already calling me to deliver me the table (i live in macau nearby hong kong) so i really couldnt be happier with the smoothness thru out  the transaction. If i was a lucky man? maybe but meanwhile i will be buying from gearbest in the future

    Well here is my total disappointment with my first order from Gearbest:

    Order placed on DECEMBER 18, 2015

    Flat Rate shipping is 10-25 business days.  Expidited shipping is 4-7 business days and cost just an extra $8.53

    I elect to go with the expedite shipping. (btw my order is a keyboard and two iPhone cases. )

    They SHIP my order on DECEMBER 29, 2015.  I know it was over Christmas, so I can’t be too mad.  However they don’t ship it expedited, they ship it flat rate, and tell me I will get it in the next 10-25 business days.  Wait a second… but I paid for faster shipping.  So I email them (claim ticket).

    They tell me it’s already shipped and they can’t change it.  And I will get it in 10-25 business days. Have a great day. Ticket closed.

    But wait, I PAID for extra, so I submit another ticket telling them they owe me $8.53, and send them a copy of the transaction and a copy of their email showing they didn’t ship it expedited.

    They respond with, “No refund is due because flat rate shipping is no charge.”  Have a great day. Ticket closed.

    Are you F’ing kidding me? No joke. Since we obviously have a communication problem, I have submitted another ticket, asking them to explain the difference between paying for something, and getting it free, with my receipt attached of course.

    Oh, and it is January 29th, 2016 now.  They tracking number they provided shows it actually never left China until January 9th, 2016 and now shows:       “20/01/16 20:44   Order received into final destination country”  . Currently on day 42 of original order being placed, and still not received item which was supposed to have shown up within 4-7 business days.

    First and last order with Gearbest.

    I read the product discussion area first before I order  the Iwork11 Stylus from Gearbest.

    There were 2 posts answered by service rep…it is 64bit windows 10!

    I received it on Friday, 12th. Its 32bits…

    Oh well …

    I asked if the cdk05 would be ok for Iwork11.

    The replied I got was a cut and paste from spec… Compatible: For Cube.

    No commitment here from Gearbest.

    lol….I look at the pictures of the keyboard… the tab probably is too big.

    Then I checked that with cube-tablet the same question….the rep replied NO.

    Is it so hard to give an honest answer by these seller!

    Wait …how many oversea buyers would eat the shipping cost and return it for “minor” issue?

    2. Full Refund or resend package in case of missing or faulty product.
    3. Many shipping options with tracking number and insurance.
    4. Technical Support

    I made my first purchase, received my order number, tracking number and even an image for my package and I was really pleased with their accuracy and honesty in dispatching my package to the shipping company in the 3rd day as stated in the product page in their website.

    After 8 days, shipping company in my country called me stating that my package were lost, it was very frustrating for me but I’ve contacted GearBest support immediately and thanks GOD they replied my ticket at the same day and told me that they have to check my package status with the shipping carrier.

    After some days, GearBest support contacted me apologizing for the delay and not receiving my order, they said that my package were lost during shipping and they take the full responsibility for that, they also offered me 2 options: either a FULL REFUND or Resend my Package for FREE and I chose the first one..

    Now, I can clearly confirm GearBest is Professional, Reliable and Safe Online Shopping Store, where you can find many products with:

    * The lowest prices.
    * Professional Technical Support
    * Insurance and Full Refund
    * Multiple Safe payment methods (Paypal for example)

    I have read some bad reviews on GearBest on the internet and after digging deeper into them I can clearly say that most of them are because they didn’t read what was written on the product page, So:

    ** For anyone who is hesitating to buy from Gearbest:
    Do NOT, Go Ahead and be sure you will always get what ever you order from GearBest.

    It’s NOT COMMERCIAL..

    I have already read your story at “bellot.asia” when I had been informed my order were lost !!

    BUT.. What Actually happened with me is totally the opposite of your story

    Their Support responded very good and a professional..

    They offered me a FULL refund option or Resending me the same package.. and I can PROVE that in Pictures from my support tickets..

    They offer a full refund after I contacted paypal.

    Before I contacted paypal, I got only what I said.

    Look at the date…
