Yes I am also facing the same issue.I dnt know how to fix this issue too.I think so android side can only recognize FAT 32 file. Pleae chris help us to get out of problem.

Hey!

I also tried a usb thumb drive with android and had the same problem. Cleaning the usb stick via diskpart and formatting it again with MBR (instead of GUID) and exFAT solved it for me. ExFat also doesn’t have that 4gb file limit.

Hi Tim, Phone Flash tool is not recognizing the tablet, probably USB is not connecting to tablet. Can you help me what should I do, please!

Hi Wayne,

if you still have that problem, make sure you…

… installed all of the drivers in recommend order and settings
… used the original usb cable or a micro usb data cable + plugged it into your pc ^^
… see the device manager recognizing the tablet
… ran the intel flash tool as administrator

Sorry for the delay. No internet connection in the last few days…

Tim or anyone with the file, Thanks for the re-Upload, but the file I cant get is —> (X16(Cherry Trail)_Android5.1系统升级工具.rar”). Its the 678.5MB file and this is the one requiring a PW to DL. Any chance you can UpLoad that file? Please? :-):-)OR is that the file above that is renamed to “Android Firmware”, even though it is a smaller (624.6MB) file? Thank you again :-):-)

It IS the one that says “Android Firmware” 😀 it’s smaller because it’s a 7z file and not rar.

I tried using a USB to 2.5mm DC adapter and it works fine so far. It stays in place without falling of. And it even works with a power bank! So I definitely recommend buying a new charger or DC to USB adapter.

as an engineer i will definitely reinstall proper windows. we have tested x16 Power with stock dual rom, and then formatted everything and installed only windows pro. and in fact all bugs and issues just gone. working 12 hours without charging in eco mode. i would say nice hardware design. so it only the software team just screwed everything. they made such a terrible software customization. but the only problem left with charging adapter and plug, it is so fragile and dodgy. you can easily break it. but it can be fixed later, we found it can be easily re-soldered to microUSB socket instead of that pin charger. also there is no led indicator to see power-on/sleep/charging.

Good to hear! What about the touchscreen? Are these touchscreen issues gone? And is it now more responsive than before?

Sadly, no difference after reset. Still no real fixes. Maybe teclast updates the software to solve at least some of those problems… I don’t have the stylus yet. So I can’t say if the stylus works as expected. However, I heard about some issues in Android.

If you go to your downloads tab in chrome, there should be a link next to the downloading file that says “download anyway”, “restore file” or something similar.

Maybe this guide can help you: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/guide-teclast-x16-pro-power-factory-reset/

If you only want to install window, try this:
put all unzipped files onto a fat32 formatted usb stick. plug a keyboard into your tablet and hit the “del” key multiple times when booting. go to the “save & exit” tab and select your usb stick on “Boot Override”. this causes the tablet to reboot straight into windows and install all important files automatically.

By the way, here is a video I made showing the poor touch responsiveness. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0G__9quPhbmOVJZQVBlQ19JSEE/view

Same issue here…

But I dont really like to send this tablet back because I already paid about 40€ taxes and I dont think I get these back.
Also shipping to china is not exactly cheap. so I hope Teclast fixes the software related issues especially the headphone bug in android which is definitely a dealbreaker for me. Otherwise the tablet is great: It doesnt look cheap, has android 5.1 and windows installed, a full sized usb, 4g of ram and a (poor yet) big 1080p display. Thats why I try to find solutions for as many problems as possible. I already wrote an email to the teclast support about some of the problems and if we can exspect an update in the near future. no answer yet, but I will update this thread as soon as I get an answer.

Hi Everyone USB can not be use for charging the device and original power plug is rubbish, it seems tablet made for not durable use, very disappointing. It will be much appreciated if any one help me how to charge via USB port!! Regards Wayne

It is not possible to charge the device via micro usb. But maybe it works when using a 2.5mm dc to usb adapter. I already ordered one. So let’s see if it works…

I completely uninstalled Android and Windows and installed it back again.
I don’t know how to reset a chuwi vi10 tablet, but with my teclast x16 pro I followed the official teclast guide.
(google translator helped me a lot)
However, still the same.
So it seems to be related to a poorly developed android rom, as the issue appears with factory settings.Let’s hope that issue will be fixed soon…

Hi! Exaclty the same problem here on my Teclast X16 Pro. Also very low sections of a song are turned down almost completely when listening below 50% volume. This causes a somewhat choppy sound. I tried the android factory reset option but it freezed at “deleting files” before starting to reset. Please post your solution if you found one!
