I had the same problem on my EZ Book 3 Pro with the Escape Key. Quite annoying as every time you boot your laptop, it jumps into the BIOS. Unfortunately there is no solution to this as these keys have literally no travel. It’s either ON or OFF, there is nothing like a half or little ON, so nothing is stuck. I recorded the issue and sent the video to Gearbest, they offered me a replacement or 30 USD refund if I keep it. I took the 30 USD, because if you remove the key, the problem is gone and you can use your laptop normally. Hope that helps.

@devzero, this kernel version of manjaro tends to not work out of the box with the touchpad. This tweak worked for me (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Touchpad_Synaptics). However, I recommend to go with a lightweight flavour of Ubuntu 18.04 (Budgie or XFCE), doesn’t require rEFInd anymore and touchpad works out of the box.

Thought some people might find this interesting. Ubuntu 18.04 Beta 1 works now out of the box. Seems grub64 has been updated. No rEFInd and no respin required anymore.  Also had no touchpad issues at all so far. Kernel is 4.15.0.10. You can find the different flavors on https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2018/03/ubuntu-18-04-beta-1-for-flavors

I had a similar issue where the escape key was like it’s pressed permanently. I ended removing the key from the keyboard, now I have an ugly gap, but all is working fine. Gearbest offered me a replacement or a refund of 30 USD. Was happy to take the refund, as everything else is just perfect on my model.

    Hi Tomer,

did you use the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool (https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO)?

I’ve got the same ezbook v5 and it worked just fine.
