Slim: I am also using the Inateck on my Hi-13; however, I found that it doesn’t work when I plug it in until I move it a bit. My other charger broke off while plugged into the tablet, so I assume that it moved the internal connector a bit. It charges fine, I just have to plug it in at the right position. good luck.
Well that’s the one Chuwi’s twitter account told me to buy. I bought it. It does not work. My original charger also broke off. I’ve been putting it back together but it finally disintegrated. That will be the fourth charger I have bought that does not work. Now I’m emailing chuwi to see if they will ship me an original from china. This has been a nightmare.
I’m starting to believe that it isn’t so much the charger that it’s picky about, it’s the usb connector. Maybe it has to be extra long or something. Or, the original charger somehow fried/broke the port in some way.
September 20, 2018 at 5:06 pm #147043So I bought that charger, but already had a cable. It’s not working. Could it really be cable-specific? That doesn’t make sense.

I bought this one and it does not work. Can anyone explain to me why? This charger roulette kind of sucks. I’d like to know which one from Amazon US works.
May 10, 2016 at 8:44 pm #36709For me, the lack of an integrated kick stand largely negates the usefulness of these tablets. I don’t want to buy the keyboard separately just so the tablet stands up on my desk. I also don’t want to buy a third party case to make it do so.
May 5, 2016 at 2:27 pm #36189I actually do not care that much about having the keyboard that docks with a tablet. I have plenty of bluetooth keyboards lying around. My main issue is how do you get the tablet to stand up like a monitor without the keyboard. For this reason alone, I lean towards the tablets with built in kick stands. I don’t want to pay $45 for a stand (keyboard).
April 29, 2016 at 4:50 pm #35559I see a lot of mention about chrome tabs in this discussion. That’s a clue. Chrome is a massive resource hog in windows. If you use Edge, you’ll notice much better performance with 2GB of ram.
I’ve used 2GB tablets that are fine in windows 10. Windows 10 is actually very good at scaling itself and it’s needs to low resources. But some apps, like Chrome, will chew up a ton of memory and make your system come to a crawl.
I’ve stopped using chrome for this reason.
April 28, 2016 at 9:36 pm #35455My current personal conundrum is:
Surface 3 128GB at Costco for $550 (with cover keyboard)
i9 at gearbest for $455
Teclast X3 for $477 at aliexpress
If anyone has any input, tales of woe, recommendations… Please share. I might just wait till one of the chinese tablets drops closer to $400 (which I know will happen the week after I order, as that’s my luck).
