Looks like Xiaomi is releasing a “XiaoMi Mi Pad 2 Windows 10 + Android 5.1 Version”.

You’ll probably need a powered USB hub, mouse, keyboard, bootable USB drive with windows ISO burned on it, back up of the drivers for the tablet, back up of the windows bios key, then you would also need the files required for proper setup of touch screen (can be found in one of the other posts in the forum). So assuming you have all of that. You would install windows, then install drivers, then setup touch screen, then check to make sure that windows got activated correctly.

If you just want you tablet to be clean i.e. (fresh install), you might want to try factory reset instead since it would be easier.

ps. Windows will only automatically activate if you install Windows 10 Home (not Professional).

I ordered the duel boot version from Gearbest and they have yet to ship it out. Looks like they may not have stock yet.

I actually ordered mine yesterday from Gearbest, right after the preorder finished. The price was cheaper than preorder. So far they haven’t canceled my order yet.

There also seems to be a price difference between the dual boot (Windows 10 + Android 5.1) and the Windows 10  only model.
