My battery is fully dead. I disconnected it from the charging board and gave it a charge of 3.8V, but when I connect it back, and plug into the wall it drops to 0.00v. I tried connecting a cell phone battery from samsung rated also at 3.87v. the Backlight starts to turn on and flicker by itself. Any ideas or the tablet is fully dead?
March 17, 2016 at 4:41 pm #29805They will want you to ship it back, at your own expense. File a claim with paypal, the more people make claims the better result for us to get some of our money back. If you ship to china, and it gets lost or does not pass china customs you will have no tablet or refund.

March 15, 2016 at 2:54 pm #29497but the label says 3.7V on the battery.
March 11, 2016 at 11:53 pm #28961The tablets are low quality, and the company does not stand behind their product. After contacting chuwi.. They said contact the seller. the sellers wants me to ship it back… total lose $100 due to customs and shipping back, when tablet costs $250. Spend the extra money and get a quality product.
March 11, 2016 at 11:27 pm #28956matt, go into the settings and disable all the power savings for monitor. Make sure the screen is set to 100% on battery and power cord. (try connecting it to monitor via hdmi)
March 11, 2016 at 11:08 pm #28954I let it discharge fully almost. Plugged in the charger the lights started glowing, then I pressed the power button. After that the lights went off, and now no matter how much I charger it the lights will not turn on (led)… I put it on a cell phone charger 5v (after reading online) I feel the battery is getting warm but no signs of life. On the original charger the tablet is not even getting warm when charging
which charger should i leave it on? i was reading online about trickle charge could help
5v 1amp (usb hub) or the original charger?
Now if all fails. can i try to charge the battery directly using 2 wires from usb port without unsoldering connections + -? or will it fry the board, and i must unsoldering the battery connections before charging directly?

March 11, 2016 at 12:57 am #28785I ordered it a week ago.
What kind of hardware problem could cause this? Any work arounds to dim the screen any other way? its really annoying
March 10, 2016 at 6:39 pm #28741Look at chris review: “Intel Graphics power settings had all the power (crippling) features enabled on battery and disabled on power” I think you have to change settings of intel graphic driver
All the settings are disabled, with the settings enabled on battery the screen would not turn on at all.
March 10, 2016 at 1:35 am #28670Did they ever fix it?
