Hi, if you end up getting a replacement keyboard, I’d be interested in buying a couple of key hinges off the dead letter keys on the keyboard (the white parts under the key). Good luck getting a replacement!

I went down a different route an just bought a xiaomi universal power board from gearbest. Then you can use the original adapter. you should be able to land one for not much over $10.

Has anyone tried a different revision of the bios to see if it fixes the keyboard issue? (although I’m not sure bios upgrade tools are available for this unit?)

I successfully added this registry hack, an it fixed the repeating key issue beautifully, thank you.

Unfortunately it doesn’t fix the major issue with the latest revision of this notebook, which is the missing keystrokes. I suspect it’s a hardware issue. I have submitted a gearbest ticket, and will wait to see what comes back – however if it’s not fixed I will RMA this unit. If you can’t type on it, it’s not fit for purpose, end of conversation.  It’s really a shame about the keyboard issue, because the rest of the unit is fantastic.
