The F5R model ID is S5K6.
Unfortunately Teclast seems to only offer an image and no seperate drivers for the Teclast F5R. I have downloaded the image from Baidu, below is an alternative link.

September 22, 2019 at 4:09 pm #181700Also I would be interested in the f5r drivers but I don’t know how to download them, we need a baidu account that I don’t have, can someone help me? Thanks.
You can use this page to download from Baidu without account: https://pan.baiduwp.com/
If you could tell me the model id of the F5R (should be on a sticker on the laptop) I can download it myself and upload the correct files somewhere else. I’m not sure if the previous link is correct and I do not have the laptop yet so I need someone to tell me the correct model ID.
September 11, 2019 at 6:43 pm #181645I’m trying to download the Teclast F5R drivers from Baidu but for some reason I can only download the PDF with the instructions and not the 2 rar files that contain the drivers. Is there anyone out there that could try and download them for me. Here is the link.
March 19, 2017 at 5:10 pm #63700The RavPower powerbank is back in stock at Amazon. A bit pricey at £44 but it should provide three complete charges, or about 15 extra hours of power. It’s rated at 99Wh while the Cube i7 is rated at 32Wh https://www.amazon.co.uk/Portable-Charger-RAVPower-26800mAh-Recharge/dp/B01LZILJQ1
Silly question perhaps but can you use this powerback as a regular USB C charger as well. I mean, when the powerbank is empty hook it up to a socket and then hook it up to the Cube i7 Book for charging so it charges the powerbank and the cube i7 book simultaneously?
March 10, 2017 at 11:50 am #63210Phuturist, So I checked out my Cube I7. I has no OEM license key stored in BIOS. In fact it has been activated by an Retail license Key. That is strange, because Retail keys are more expensive than OEM keys. (Cube may not be able to be recognized by Microsoft as an OEM). So it would seem they are typing in individual Retail keys during each OS install. Now the first time the computer connects online it will register with Microsoft and then the Key and Hardware hash will be tied together, and stored with Microsoft. After that first registration no key is needed to do OS reinstall, it will then be able to be activated by its Hardware Hash alone. Since you did a clean install before that first registration, that retail key has been lost. You would think that Cube or the re-seller (who ever is doing the OS installs) would keep track of retail keys tied to Serial Numbers, but just as good of a chance they are not. Maybe they can just send you a new Key. For everyone else, the Retail Key is a bit better than an OEM key, in that it can be transferred to another computer. It might be worth downloading showkey and saving the retail key, for future use if needed.
Thank you for your explanation. Now I at least know what is going on. Guess i was a bit to eager to start clean. Never had this issue with Chuwi and Onda tablets though which always had UEFI embedded keys.
Banggood is still trying to reach out to the reseller for a solution. They seem willing to solve the problem.
March 9, 2017 at 6:46 am #63160OK, I could be wrong about the UEFI key. Still, it does not activate even with the factory image of Cube installed. Another wild guess would be that my key never went to the cloud because I installed a fresh copy of windows straight away.
Anyway, I have already contacted Banggood but don’t have much faith. I don’t plan to buy another licence so I’ll probably end up sending it back
Thanks for thinking along.
March 8, 2017 at 9:27 pm #63153I checked mine and there is no embedded key in uefi. Mine came from Banggood. I sure they do OEM keys differently now on Win10. The OEM activates the os and uses a master key. This puts a unique hardware activation in asure. On subsequent installs you are supposed to choose ” I don’t have a key” on key install page, the os installs and when it goes online it re-activates. Are you sure you have the right os version? I stated to you already that I tried to put pro on mine and it wouldn’t activate,, mine uses home. When I re-installed home it activated Did you actually call Microsoft? What did Microsoft say? I know it’s possible to call them, because I did that recently. I had a windows 10 install that I changed the motherboard, and it required me to manually enter a new activation scheme by calling Microsoft.
I tried Windows Home, Windows Pro and I actually restored the Windows 10 image for the Cube i7 Book supplied by Cube (which is Windows 10 Home and took me 14 hours to download).
I have chatted with Microsoft Support about this issue and after trying out some stuff I was advised to contact the seller. They could not activate it without any sort of key present.
There just should be a UEFI embedded key in the BIOS as described by Wylver above. This is the way Windows digital licenses are handled even or specifically for OEM licenses. When it’s not present it won’t be able to reactivate after installation. Did you execute the command “wmic path softwarelicensingservice get oa3xoriginalproductkey” from an elevated prompt and did it not show any sort of license key? If it does you do have a UEFI embedded key. If not then I would be very careful with reinstalling Windows. If you also have no UEFI key it is the last time i buy from Banggood. Never had this issue from Aliexpress resellers.
March 8, 2017 at 8:46 am #63135You can contact MSFT through the win10 “Settings” section either by direct chat OR a Call back. They will guide you to get to an activation page with slui.exe 4
That is awesome John, thank you for your effort. I will try this and report back here.
Unfortunately Microsoft is unable to help me. Slui.exe 4 is not working and “wmic path softwarelicensingservice get oa3xoriginalproductkey” is not giving any product key. It seems Cube or the seller has fucked up my tablet and there is no product key anywhere to be found. Not in the BIOS and not as a sticker on my tablet or packaging. So I’m now stuck with a nice paper weight. I will contact Banggood but I dont have much faith in a proper solution (replacement or a new product key).
Can someone else at least confirm that their Cube i7 Book did came with a UEFI-embedded key (meaning that you never have to enter a product key manually and Windows activates itself when reinstalled).
March 7, 2017 at 5:54 pm #63119I ordered this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/112150118601?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I hope it’s good, the one that came with my tablet is not EU plug and the adapter the seller sent doesn’t fit our outlets, fortunately I have a bunch of adapters here. Can you post a picture of your original charger? Mine is working perfectly even with our bad electric installations and an old adapter.
How is this charger working out for you. I’m looking for a cheap solution to replace the supplied adapter as well. The supplied adapter does not fit the outlets here in the Netherlands very well.

March 3, 2017 at 1:46 pm #62967I was able to download from Baidu but it’s huge and I can’t upload it with my shared internet, the upload speed is a lot slower then the download speed.
It’s ok, I’m using jDownloader right now to download. With jDownloader you do not need an account and only need to fill in the password for the file. It’s gonna take 10 hours to download so I hope it wont crash somewhere but at least it’s downloading right now.
March 3, 2017 at 1:38 pm #62966Strange, mine says it’s Windows 10 Pro 64 bits.
Where did you buy yours? Did you also get it from Banggood?
March 3, 2017 at 8:41 am #62952Hi All, File from Baidu/Yun is downloadable, from the neteherlands at least, after creating a baidu account over the mobile phone, logon to the new account via the phone (do not forget to change the +86 to your country code in both operations), then open your profile and set a nickname (left top corner of the profile), so you can use it to login in the download app. Download the download app from baidu (a resource.db floats on the internet, which translate most chinese into english in this app). Download. Have patience, as you get stopped for 24 hours multiple times. The rar itself contains a win10, ec and bios directory, plus a word file. I attached the word file, for those who want to determine whether they need the 7.44 Gbyte file. Someone else has to put the file through google translate, to filter out the chinese part. For the first 10 who get stuck, login to the forum, sent me a personal message and I will share the 7.44 Gbyte file over google drive (need a google gmail name, in order to share). I only look into my email over the weekend. Adriaan
Hello Adriaan,
Do you still have the Windows image for the Cube i7 Book somewhere? I need it but I cant seem to get through all that baidu registration stuff.
March 3, 2017 at 8:37 am #62951It’s home 64bit. Language won’t matter, because activation is tied to the specific hardware that has already been activated. I actually tried to put win10 pro and it wouldn’t activate, so I had to put home back on there. Maybe you got the wrong version. Also sometimes it might take a little time to reactivate. You can call microsoft and they will activate it for you try this link — http://www.thewindowsclub.com/activate-windows-8-by-phone — Good Luck!
Well, looks like I’m screwed. It’s Windows 10 Home 64 bits for sure which I installed. Activation by phone is not present anymore in Windows 10. I emailed Banggood about this but dont expect too much from this. What I’d like is to install the Cube factory Windows 10 image. It’s available for download but it requires a baidu account. Is there someone out there with a baidu account that can create a mirror for me.
March 2, 2017 at 9:30 pm #62932I used the media creation tool on another laptop to create a bootable USB and do a clean install of Windows on my Cube i7 Book. Installation went fine and I have a clean Windows install but I cant seem to activate this install. So I guess I selected the wrong version of Windows. I selected Dutch Windows 10 Home 64 bits, I thought the language would not matter for activation but I guess it does. Or did the Cube i7 Book originally not come with Windows Home 64 bits?
Could someone tell me which Windows version I need to select in the media creation tool to get it to activate automatically?
