August 9, 2016 at 5:17 am #46197Maybe a working Wifi fix! Testing… Hey guys, after the well known wifi issues / dropout´s I´m still testing the following driver and registry hack on Win10. First check if you have the original Driver version 3008.28.201.2016 date 22.02.2016 installed. Then regedit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002bE10318}\000X (X may be one of 0 / 1 / 2 … ) Search for and change the value of bLeisurePs from 2 to 0. Then disable and re-enable the wireless interface in Device Manager. The bLeisurePs = 0 should stop the driver to go into idle mode. Maybe thebattery is more needed? But till now it seems that the WiFi is working without dropouts. Still testing a view more days. By the way, Is your Speaker volume on Win10 to low. Try the Intel HD Audio driver of Microsoft´s Surface 3. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38826 Yes, that will work and boost your Volume.
As always do it on your own risk. Greetings from Germany Alex Can you upload driver to audio i can not find on there with that link. I like to have higher volume.
August 8, 2016 at 3:22 am #46067I still like to know. As Timmy guy getting touch screen issues. I just want to have enterprise edition modded into stock one with file that makes it only install windows. I can’t not risk having issues later down the line.
August 5, 2016 at 8:31 pm #45771You will need this iso for fresh installation: en_windows_10_multiple_editions_version_1607_updated_jul_2016_x64_dvd_9058187.iso Language: English SHA1: 9FD8082A609997AE97A514DCA22BECF20420891 just google it and download from any source you can find but after download compare it with SHA1 value from microsoft site to be asured nothing was altered
Wouldn’t it better for someone to create a custom one with all the drivers and such for the device than doing a fresh one?
August 5, 2016 at 5:09 pm #45732I updated it already but be careful touch screen is messed up waiting for a feedback from a forum for a possible fix

July 17, 2016 at 8:29 pm #43774Is Bios modding idea cancelled shame not to see any news on here. I really love a unlocked bios to play around with.
May 12, 2016 at 3:18 pm #36991Here you are doing 3.02 update while the one i’m doing to get 3.01 still not doing it for me. Still stuck. I love to be kept update on all devices but this one is tricky.
May 4, 2016 at 5:42 pm #36054For me was exactly the same but after three reboots all is right now.
The way I do it last time was:
Once the device manager detect an install the update, uncheck automatically reboot, close device manager and reboot manually.
Wait the bios update process (black screen with white letters) until it ask you to press a key and then press one of the volume buttons.
Restart device and go to bios (Power + Volume Up)
Reset bios to defaults.
That way the update get finished and Firmware don’t have yellow mark anymore.
The only problem is that my 64GB Samsung SD still not recognized. Error 10 as before.
I tired that still same issue.
May 3, 2016 at 9:18 pm #35964Here’s a picture still stuck still doesn’t do update process during the restart after selecting it.
