Yes, please that would be helpful for me to try.
Alpha I just got my ultrabook working again, I will get my version number ASAP for you.
September 29, 2016 at 7:35 pm #52064Hello, succeeded to reveal the tablet. Disconnected the battery, failed to revive. Done neatly, no traces of tampering. Yesterday sent back to the seller. Photo: https://1drv.ms/f/s!ArRb5mySOfvbhM4SwHXgXm3QkdXRrA
Glad you got it to open, my voyo had a similar problem but rather than pay to ship it back to gearbest, I spent the $20 on the parts to fix it myself, I now have a working ultrabook again as well as a good tool for fixing bricked devices in the future
September 29, 2016 at 7:31 pm #52063I feel like blocking India might be a bit drastic, do you have access to IP’s of the spam posters? Id be happy to help you out anyway I can.
September 28, 2016 at 3:31 pm #51455Thanks,
I’ve tried a number of BT keyboards, none really work for someone that types all day. They just can’t keep up, or randomly go off and do their own thing!
I’ve tried the Logictech ones as well as they imply that they’re not BT? They work a little better, or appear to, but even they have issues with keys not being recognized.
In a way I’m surprised that none of the company’s have thought of using the screen the other way. It makes more sense to use it that way with Word..
I agree, I dont think there is anything that is hard wired for what you want, my best suggestion is to find one that plugs into your tablets charge/usb port with a cord and see if that will work?
September 28, 2016 at 3:28 pm #51451I used to have to deal with this alot when I had my forum running, Ill report any that I see popup, do you have it set so that you have to verify your email before people can post? another thing you could also implement is a minimum post count to start a new thread without a cooldown (i.e. you can only post once an hour until you have 25 posts)
September 27, 2016 at 4:23 pm #51017Since there has been an influx (like 10 new ones today) maybe its time to adjust the joining credentials? maybe a captcha to enter when you sign up? it will help reduce the spam quite a bit.
September 27, 2016 at 4:19 pm #51016I recall HP having something that met those specs back in early 2000’s, I dot think it ever caught on though, I have done some digging and most of what I can find is going to be a Bluetooth solution:
http://tidbits.com/article/16246
that is one such case, I presume you want the tablet to be vertical while your typing on a physical keyboard that has a wired connection versus a Bluetooth one. Ill let you know if I find anything else.
September 26, 2016 at 10:37 pm #50826Hello! My tablet went to sleep and no longer included. When you press the power button, the green indicator flashes, and the inclusion does not occur( What you can do in this situation? Has anyone disassembled the tablet Vido W10 Elite? All the screws are unscrew, the back cover something’s stopping.
If you took all the screws out, there is likely plastic tabs holding that panel on, my voyo v3 had this, you will need to use a spudger of some kind (basically a plastic knife) to undo them if that is the case. Most portable devices from the last 5 or so years are put together this way, there are a few exceptions to this though.
September 26, 2016 at 8:05 pm #50820Update: I got the final piece I needed to re-program the UEFI, after a slight learning curve, my v3 ultrabook is working again with factory firmware. I will now start working on that OS restore how-to
September 25, 2016 at 2:36 am #50545Update for anyone following along, just waiting on the SOIC8 clip since I have no desire to solder leads or remove the BIOS/EFI chip, should have that in the next couple days. Ill post my results here and if succesful, I will start looking into a dual boot setup using the a1 as a template. If anyone wants files or more info just ask.
September 25, 2016 at 2:32 am #50544My Voyo A1 plus 4g wifi crashed. would no boot. Install win 10 1607 os build 14393.187. installed several drivers from this site and more. some turn the device on others do not. installed usb adapter and did updates and scans. removed all cisco software . what is the next step. sorry for the repost.
If you see your wireless adapter but no networks on the new install and everything works fine on old one, then I would suggest trying the wireless drivers from the working install, majorgeeks.com has a free copy of double driver that can backup and restore drivers.
September 24, 2016 at 10:36 pm #50539I am guessing that since you cant see anything and pheonox tool isnt giving you a popup saying “firmware: <name>.bin” that you will likely need to find the firmware and use an SPI programmer to get the screen back, you can do it with either an actual programmer (CH341 is a popular choice) or you can do it with a raspberry pi if you have one, word of advice of you go this route, research every chip till you find the BIOS chip and research the safe voltages for it, most programmers put out 3.3V but sone BIOS chips can only handle 1.6 – 2.2V so 3.3V could potentially harm the chip, Im not trying to scare you, just trying to help.
September 24, 2016 at 9:25 am #50501Don’t know. Originally I wanted a nice 9.7 tablet but they are almost OOP and the last teclast is horrible. Chuwi vi 10 plus was really good looking, great external build quality and cheap with a nice 3:2 screen. I am not so sure about getting a 16:10 ratio tablet as it’s better for movies but not browsing which I mainly will use the tablet for. I’m wondering f the difference between 3:2 and 16:10 is significant / noticeable?
Hmm, I cant say cause I’ve never used anything with that ratio. I myself got the 13.3″ voyo v3 ultrabook (I’ve also bricked it, waiting on a SOIC8 clip to fix it) I got that cause it suited the reasons I needed it for, the light gaming was just icing on the cake lol
September 23, 2016 at 8:05 pm #50482RMA so shipping back on me but… I hope paypal will refund 30 out 36 EUR I paid. I also put some pressure on gearbest and they promissed 250 extra points. I would really advise to stay away from the Vi10 plus at least for now.
Good to know, are you getting something different to replace it?
September 21, 2016 at 10:23 pm #50380Well, the tablet is going back to China so … no tablet no port not nothing
Oh, is it being RMA’d or full refund?
