Hmm, 8.1 doesn’t see it as an advanced touchpad then.

With Windows 10  none of the 3-finger gestures work. I was wondering if it was a driver issue but it needs to be an advanced touchpad for them to work as far as I know.

Does your device manager show it as a generic HID-Mouse or something else?

Same here. Everything working as it should.

The only thing I can’t get working is gestures on the touchpad (three finger flick etc). I’m not sure whether these worked with Win 8.1 though as I only used it for 5 minutes before blowing it away and installing 10.

There’s been some work done getting OSX on to a Dell Venue with the Core-M CPU. By all accounts it works but things like sleep, touchscreen, battery status, etc aren’t working.

I’ve been thinking about messing around with this myself.

Sounds like it’s out of batteries. The red dot is the charge light. Does it do this with the power supply plugged in?

Screen rotation works fine under Windows 10. Install the drivers in this pack: http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-8-rt/general/cube-i7-stylus-t3151563

Use the bundled installer and then re-boot.

As far as getting you back to Windows 8.1, I don’t know. I guess you could just do a clean install of 8.1 but why bother when 10 works so well?

I don’t have one but I can see from the pictures that it won’t work. The lugs that hold it in to the tablet are much closer together on the i10 keyboard.

Right, I “think” that the port is the same as the Acer Icona A500 tablet. It sure looks like it.

I’ve ordered this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171803782880 if it works I’ll report back.

That might work. It’s only a 1.5A charger though so it will be slow to fully charge the device.

Though that I could have utilized one spare Samsung SM841 mSata drive from work but it seems that is too large.

The port inside the tablet is M.2 not mSATA.

The barrel plug measures at 3mm outside by 1mm inside. It’s a 12V 2.5A charger with a positive centre pin..

I’m struggling to find anything that matches on the open market. I’ve got a 3.5mm charger that’s 2A 12V that I’m going to try when I get 5 minutes to locate it in my drawer of discarded tech junk.

<span style=”color: #000000; font-family: ‘Open Sans’; font-size: 13px; line-height: 24px;”>tablet mode switching works fine for me, keyboard too, windows 10. same driver package etc. rotation ok along with wifi and bluetooth

    </span>

Are you saying that yours automatically switches in and out of tablet mode when attaching and detaching the keyboard? Mine doesn’t do this and I can’t find any setting to turn it on. On my other convertible it just works with no issues at all.

Works fine here. They keyboard won’t pop up and hide automatically unless you’re in tablet mode.

The stylus and Wacom digitiser will work correctly after you install the driver update over at XDA Developers or here: http://us.wacom.com/en/feeldriver/

I sent this as my dispute:

Device has arrived with a counterfeit copy of Windows installed. This installation has been activated using KMS Pico.

I paid for, and expected the device to come with a fully licensed copy of either Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 8.1 BING. In it’s current state, I cannot legally use the tablet as I do not have a valid license for the Windows version that is installed. I am therefore forced to purchase a license.

Please can you either send me a valid license key or refund the cost of an OEM copy of Windows 8.1 (£60).

    Thanks

With regards to the auto switching, there’s got to be a registry setting somewhere that can be turned on that switches when a keyboard is attached. Just need to find it.
