Yes, although I use a HDMI cable I previously had with a £1.50 Micro HDMI to Full HDMI Adaptor.
September 29, 2015 at 10:30 am #12139I’m ready to try this once someone can confirm it works
September 25, 2015 at 8:51 am #11897I have all of the above too, bluetooth doesnt work for gaming either, just cuts out and everything needs to be rebooted in order to connect again.
The WiFi and Bluetooth also badly causes problems when both in use.Glad I’m not the only one with all these problems!
September 24, 2015 at 4:05 pm #11879Of course 🙂
Display Driver Crashing
Tablet now waking from sleep
Randomly shutting off when gaming (won’t turn on till charger has been plugged in, even if battery is almost full)
When waking, sometimes the display is the wrong way around and the touch screen inverts, making it a puzzle to unlock
There are more, but I’m tired and can’t think too well! Hopefully updates fix this, but the lack of updates so far doesn’t bring me much hope, the bugs are obvious, many people are having them.
September 22, 2015 at 1:41 pm #11766No problem, I hope it works for you too! I think the Tablet stops charging with any charger at a certain temperature (pretty much impossible to touch hot).
But as you seen, the OTG cable works with mine whilst charging, charges fast too, doesn’t seem to lose any power through the converter.
But yes, much cheaper on the electricity bill 😉 I’m still wary of ditching my Laptop though as there are still so many bugs on the X98 Pro, I really don’t want to have to send it back.
September 22, 2015 at 12:03 pm #11755Just to confirm (image attached)
Charging + USB 3.0 3TB Drive + WIFI USB Dongle (closest thing I could find)…
Teclast X98 Pro….

I was using it last night in my car with a bit of gaming (not driving obviously), it was charging fine off the 12 Charger I have (2.5a) with my xbox controller plugged in.
To be honest, I thought it was the one you had Chris…? Ignore the instructions the supplier gives for what settings, I think setting 1 is for charging + devices and setting 2 is for no charge, just devices (or vice versa)…but it works good.
September 22, 2015 at 11:47 am #11750Okay, well mine started crashing again last night…..it can’t even stay in a game for over 10 minutes either.
Nobody should buy this tablet, I was really excited for the Cherry Trail version, but now regretting it.
September 21, 2015 at 9:12 am #11693After upgrading to Windows 10 Insider Preview, I found that the CPU will just sit at 2.2ghz constantly and not settle down, this was causing some over-heating issues, so I restored down to the normal version of windows.
After restoring, every driver (wifi, bluetooth, display, touch screen & more) had stopped working, gave some weird error like “device relying on other driver to start), so I uninstalled all the faulty drivers, rebooted, then everything re-installed and has worked perfectly since! Strange.
September 21, 2015 at 9:09 am #11692Sorry for the late reply, mine works fine with charging, keyboard and mouse, oh and an xbox controller, all at the same time.
The only time it wont charge is when it gets to a really really hot state after gaming, it will just simply hold the battery at its current level.
September 17, 2015 at 2:12 pm #11572Hey chap,
I’ve been using this over the last few days and its spot on! 3 days to arrive, no problems at all.
Enjoy!
September 17, 2015 at 2:07 pm #11571Hey guys,
Just wanted to have my say, International Version here, have had it 6 days now and used it non-stop (when it isn’t crashing).
Straight from the beginning I’ve been having the display driver crash and the tablet not waking from being locked. I’ve made sure everything is up to date, including the Intel Driver, but no such luck.
I updated to the latest Insider Preview last night in hopes that it might help cure these issues, but nope, if anything it is worse, I had a blue screen!
The Heat too is annoying, you can tell after 5-10 minutes of gaming that the FPS drops quite badly, I want to do the thermal mod, but don’t want to risk voiding any warranty taking the thing apart as I have been considering sending it back.
Cheers,
Sam
September 16, 2015 at 8:10 am #11501I gave it a thorough test yesterday, it still crashes the display driver multiple times, but its hard to say what’s causing it, it just seems to be fairly random, maybe flicking between windows. However, 30 minutes of gaming was 100% fine. I may un-install the drivers completely and re-install!
September 14, 2015 at 9:27 am #11395I found the update yesterday too after installing the Intel Update Utility, the crashing is still there. I don’t know about you, but mine doesn’t resume from the “lock” state (not sleep) and I have to force the thing off and back on, very annoying as its making it nearly un-usable!
