Thanks guys. I see the pro is on sale for $800 now. It’s a nice machine for sure but I forgot to mention in the post I prefer a matte finish – glossy drives me nuts. Especially don’t see the point of a glossy screen when it isn’t a touch screen

If you wipe the emmc during the pre-installation ( where you can format drives ) of windows 10 on the ssd. does the it prevent this from happening and put
the bootloader on the ssd?
December 29, 2017 at 3:13 pm #76232I plan on installing a Windows 10 LTSB version on a ssd once it arrives. Did any one have any issues when installing a fresh windows 10 on this laptop? I backed up all the drivers using Double Driver so hopefully I shouldn’t have any issues. Also.. I plan on wiping out the emmc before installing windows 10 on the ssd so that should prevent the efi bootloader issue as it should create a new one on the ssd ( as I’d want it to ) correct?
Also, I’d like to backup the original partition on the emmc that it comes with that way I have my original Windows key and software. Any suggestions on software I could use to clone this? I haven’t done this procedure in a long time. Will the “Windows media creation” tool do this for me and save my windows key essentially ? Thank you
December 28, 2017 at 1:26 pm #76211I too have these bios with no advanced options. Guessing no update? I see there is an software hack for the cpu increase.. not one for the hd?

December 13, 2016 at 11:17 pm #58584I hope the photos of my bios help, mine is working in the 1600s. Thanks for the availability of the drivers for the YEPO 737S v128GB, since the ones that are at the beginning of this topic are mixed, that is, in the available drivers there are components that do not bomb 100%, or lack two-component drivers or those that do not exist are of these components.
So I just received my Yepo and noticed something. Mine comes with the 1066mhz problem. I changed all my settings to match yours but no luck. I did notice how ever that the InsydeH20 Version of mine says Yepox.Y13.NFNDREA04 while yours says Yepox.Y13.NFNDREA03.. maybe for your version 1600mhz works and not mine? Any one know how to test if update ( or down grading bios to the NFNDREA03 version will fix this? I don’t have a copy of the bios or the tool to try it.
As far as the problem Windows activation. My Yepo activated as soon as I connected to the internet with no additional steps needed. I bought mine from gear best 128gb model
December 6, 2016 at 11:29 pm #58156Another user put in comments in another thread this with better results:
”
here was on use manual that come with this. I have discovered a better way to “lock” the memory speed to 1600hz. In the bios menu, disable DVFS, and enable “auto detect DDR3 memory speed” ( not sure about the exact wording). That is it.
With this setting, bandwidth testing results are slightly above 1660MB/s”
December 2, 2016 at 1:32 pm #58001I removed my previous comment.
I understand your limited time and appreciate your response. I was unaware that you had already returned the unit.
Out of the units you’ve reviewed that are similiar. Are you still suggesting the Jumper Ezbook? Even with the heating issues?

November 30, 2016 at 4:38 pm #57911He will not review it because he is a professional. If the result is poor giving up is a professional behavior.
Yeah, giving up is professional behavior. Right. If this is the view of the author then I’ll just unsubscribe now. Thanks for a non-follow up and only reporting on things you personally like ( are you being secretly sponsored to say only good things? ) rather than being objective and focusing on the product. A shame with someone with such a following.
November 30, 2016 at 2:54 pm #57905I don’t understand this. If you are a professional reviewer on Youtube , why wouldn’t you state the good or more importantly the bad? I understand you’re angry and want to rant but you have a discard your emotional reaction and just state facts as to what you seen, what you’ve tried and their results. You could use your larger platform to speak for the community of Yepo owners who are concerned for the same thing and perhaps produce a solution much quicker.
I thoroughly enjoyed your review of this and other devices and even subscribed but this rationale makes me question all of the above.
