Are you using the cube rom? I am using konsta’s CM rom and the sdcard is working fine there. I made the decision to move to another ROM when Cube’s updates kept bricking my tablet after I rooted it. He has since released a marshmallow build which I’ll be trying later.
Idk whats going on with these sdcards but logic dictates that if it works on 1 OS but not the other on the same machine, then the problem shouldn’t be the card.
November 14, 2016 at 3:28 am #56895This is the guide to install the dual os for iwork8 ultimate which I think you can use, tho the files you listed doesn’t look like the ones I have, is yours the Air version? Anyway, have a look at the guide for ultimate and see if it helps. Of course, use the correct files, cos below guide is for the old ultimate.

November 4, 2016 at 4:43 am #56393I remember that chuwi forum was saying the 4216xxxxxxxx were the ones that can go dual os. Check their forums, maybe there’s newer info.
Mine is still single OS (being 4215xxxxxx), not taking the risk.
September 29, 2016 at 5:35 am #51610I bought the one used by Chris on one of his reviews. Just checked it, its labelled “USB2.0 4port otg hub” and I bought it from banggood. You also need a decent charger, the one I had (replacement charger cos original one failed) didn’t charge fast enough for the devices attached, but it will charge.
Currently, I’m using hdmi hub (usb powered), usb mouse and charging my tablet at the same time.
September 13, 2016 at 8:19 am #49646Actually when I flashed the original windows again, everything worked. After a while intermittent errors started to appear (guessing some updates slipped in b4 I disabled them). Will try the drivers above.
–in case this helps others–
right clicking the sd controller and choosing update driver software does not work.after disabling driver signature, right click the driver and choose properties, then drivers, update driver –this will allow u to choose the driver you downloaded
August 23, 2016 at 12:19 pm #47719hmmm I finally hit this error after installing the anniversary update. I’ll try to downgrade it and see what happens.
August 15, 2016 at 5:57 am #46859I did the update last night cos I thot the ability to disable the touchpad would be nice. Hwr, the way its behaving is making me wish I left it alone.
Starting Windows now take ages, especially at the login screen. Does this happen to others or is it cos I didn’t do a clean install? You also can’t disable lockscreen without workarounds.
Btw, where is the setting to disable gestures/touchpad while docked and you have USB mouse attached? Doesn’t show for me.
August 8, 2016 at 4:16 am #46070I don’t have the AIR version, mine is the older ultimate iwork8. The reason I have 21gb is I used the modded teclast gpt.bin to reduce the android paritions. There is an cube version which I haven’t tried. Its a tedious process that involves u wiping out everything.
The other suggestion I have is backup your drivers, windows and do a clean install, but tbh after a few days with anniversary update, I’m getting pretty annoyed with it.
August 7, 2016 at 5:53 am #45973I used media creation tool to download the iso and then used rufus to create the USB because I was updating my PC+notebook too. Just run setup.exe from USB if it doesn’t autostart.
Try running disk cleanup b4 and after the update, this will free up space usually.
August 6, 2016 at 9:36 am #45858Yes it worked on my dual OS iwork8 (not the Air version, I only have the older iwork8 ultimate).
Though I have since done clean Windows installs due to space constraints.
August 6, 2016 at 9:32 am #45857I don’t know tbh, I didn’t think mine could update with 5gb either, but it did. So just try, it will tell u if it needed more space during the update process. Just to clarify, I already have the 1511 update.
Just a note: review all the privacy stuff, the ones I disabled seem to have turned on with this update.
for those asked abt my disk space etc, finally managed to upload screenie.

You must be logged in to view attached files.August 6, 2016 at 6:21 am #45834Think mine is from second batch, and its just passed 6 months and still working fine.
Sometimes its just luck. My cube is more problematic for me.
August 6, 2016 at 4:12 am #45827I just installed it last night, took ages so I let it run overnight and woke up today to the new build.
It changed some settings. Sneaky of them. One of my apps (touch studio) didn’t work. Other than that, everything (namely firefox, touch, videos, explorer) seems to work fine.
The install itself wasn’t too bad. I only had 5gb free and it didn’t give me grief like 1511 update did.
August 6, 2016 at 3:59 am #45826I used Chris’s tutorial and the files are in downloads
July 31, 2016 at 7:44 am #45165just want to say thank you again. After my android died again (still think it was an update) I tried cyanogenmod build again and with the houdini patch, all my apps worked. Have installed xposed (for those that asked) and everything looks good.
