Shit. I figured it out! I was running my command prompt from the wrong directory.  It is now fully rooted. I’ll be damned!!

Here is another attachment – I have also noticed that “ADB” is not being recognized as a command and I am not getting the “ID” message in the command window – like it can’t find the files.

OK – this doesn’t work for work on my Windows 10 machine. I even ran the commands as Admin but no go. I tried on an XP Laptop, and I run into a WHOLE bunch of “CHMOD” errors (no such file exists). The tablet reboots fine once but I have no root access. Can anyone help me? My XP laptop has a screen brightness issue so I cannot see every command that fails in the batch file, but I did see the CHMOD issues and I know that is a Linux command.  Again, no root access. Please find attached a screen capture of the error messages I am getting. I installed busybox pro and Super SU on the Chuwi Hi12 already, they reside on the tablet. Any help??

OK – so I downloaded the files, but I noticed in the post that the script had to be “modified” to work. What do I need to do to run this and root? Please remember, I have rooted a few other tablets but I am a novice at this. I see you should NOT let SuperSU update binaries as doing that breaks this operation. Advice?
