Adding an external mouse makes it possible to work on my F15 for many hours, but disabling the mouse, the cursor keeps moving to the left, so I’ll have to type my ‘unlock’ code backwards… The touchpad is not working anymore.

Another odd thing I noticed is that ‘9’ is working but shift+9 to produce a ‘(‘ isn’t working, which seems to me that this isn’t purely a mechanical thing, but there could also be a driver thing going on. That combined with so many people getting the same problem in the very same month.

Has anyone successfully found any F15 drivers on the Teclast  homepage?

Oh, it’s out of stock… and I didn’t order one yet.

I never changed a keyboard before, is that a trivial thing to do? I mean no soldering, and such things?

Yes, using cold+Sharpkeys isn’t the perfect solution, but at least it’ll allow you to back-up your stuff.

After my ‘4’ is gone, the ‘9’ starts to become irregular. So it properly won’t take long till the keyboard is completely dead.

For me it seems to work to cool the computer, and then as quickly as possible use sharpkeys to switch off the key in question. Then a reboot.

If only I could get sharpkeys running: https://github.com/randyrants/sharpkeys I could try to switch off the keypress detection for the repeated key.

Is wonder is heat a factor? I mean, does the computer work normal, and when it gets warmer, does the repeated key problem start?

Oh, my F15 just started to repeat the ‘4’ key. It seems strange that this error happens in the same month, unrelated to number of months of use(my computer is a year old).

Keep us posted if you find a solution.

The right click area on the touchpad gets stuck. After a while it gets unstuck, until it gets stuck again. Bad build quality? Needs some wear and tear to work properly? Should I return the computer?

Great news. I’ve ordered a F15 and waiting for it to arrive, however, I’ve asked these people if they could sell me danish keyboard stickers including an ‘Alt Gr’ key, but no answer yet: https://keyshorts.com/products/danish-keyboard-stickers

Are you using keyboard stickers – and if so, where do you buy them?

Maybe this tool can be useful? https://github.com/randyrants/sharpkeys

    The coder writes:

I finally merged the code change that changes the way keys are entered into the list, which includes looking for triple-byte keycodes and should enable the ability to remap Alt+Gr. What I don’t know is if it works or not, so if you successfully or unsuccessfully remap the Alt+Gr key, please let people know in the Issues section – thanks!

I’m thinking about buying a F15 too, so let me know if this solves that problem?
