I have replaced the SSD with Transcend MTS400 128GB.

Migrated the OS through cloning. The new SSD booted up fine.

I reinstalled Windows 10 and the Windows got activated automatically.

    Everything is running fine now.

Andrea, afaik the rom for rooting onda v919 Core M is not available yet.
Therefore, you can’t root it for now.

Yes, you can use your own Windows 10.
I installed my own Windows 10 pro too.

Sarah, it comes with “China version” of Android.
You can’t root it for now because no one has made a ROM for Onda V919 Core M (afaik).

Therefore, you can’t install google play apk.
It’s pretty much useless for now as it’s loaded with tons of Chinese apps.

I removed all Android partitions when I installed a clean Windows 10.
My Onda V919 Core M only runs Windows 10 now.
    My tablet works flawlessly.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks, Bill.

I’m planning to replace the M.2 SSD.

Is there any way to select USB boot device during start up? Otherwise, I wonder how to install Windows to the new SSD drive?

    Hi,

Do you know how to remove the Android OS? All I need is only Windows.
