unfortunately switching to pure android did not help at all. still the same. Maybe windows would help but I didn’t try it. Waiting for chuwi´s reaction on their forum and for Gearbest reaction.

its really simple. If you want to have it android only, just just follow the step 2. “Reinstall Android</span>” from the tutorial. If you want just to reflash remix OS- follow the same tutorial, same step but you need to download files for remix. Everything else is the same.
Btw.. if you want to have it android only, I recommend to replace “gpt” from attachement for the original gpt. The original gpt is made for dual boot so there is only 7 GB of free space for android. I have modified this file and now there should be around 19 GB of free space for using.

well.. if you want to install dualboot instead of remix, then its necessary to flash bios etc… but if you want just reinstall remix OS with their file, then it is not needed to flash bios. You just need to download remix files, some flashing tool and then flash .json file. Just as is in tutorial (android part). If freezes will persist I will try to install regular android version (at least widgets and more setting will be there).

Yeah I face the issue with keyboard as well.. anyway on Chuwi´s forum there are instalation files for remix + android + windows so you can try to reinstall it. I made fresh instalation of remix and now it seems much better. I have already installed all of my apps and still no freeze. Hope it has been repaired.

Hope that they can somehow help. I will post it here when I get something. Even the guide for installing windows would be nice “solution”.

I tried it… uninstalled adb (there is no SDK). Tried on 2 PCs + I made fresh Win7 installation in virtual box and even there it is again “cant load boot.img” etc..

I give up! 🙂 anyway.. thank you very much for your effort and I will try to wait if there will be some different solution or some video guide or something.. I will stay tuned! 🙂

I tried it on windows 7 aswell and still the same problem.. Cant load the recovery.img, boot.img etc… Is it really enough to just extract it to the same folder or maybe put it somewhere in the tablet? Or maybe it is possible that these files are really somehow corrupted? This just doesnt work :-/

I tried creating new path like “Drive M:/” + I tried it on different PC (at least deleting data from step 1 worked) but still there is a problem that it cant load boot.img and such a files (in attachement). When I try to open this boot.img, recovery.img and TWRP.img windows says that these files are corrupted. Some advice please? 🙂

    Hello,

thanks for your guide but I have a problems with it… Everytime I try to run it in cmd it writes like: error: cant load “boot.img” no such file in directory … or error: cant load “recovery.img” no such file in directory… do you have some tip how to fix it? I just unzipped it to root of C:/ and all these files are there.
