    Thanks Dean…

Let us know what they will say about this.

There is a guy from Teclast registered in this forum. We could also write him for information, what do you think??

He opened a topic about a future tbook, i think…

I also sent an email in January.
Despite having answered 2 weeks later, at present they have not yet found a solution. 🙁

One guy on Spanish telegram group has just received a 64gb. Samsung EVO+, and Windows doesn’t work with it (not in fat, xfat or ntfs).

He reboot the tablet, go into the bios and select “restore defaults” and then “save and exit”. Now, the SD is working well under Windows and under Android as well…

He has the A5C6 converted to dual boot mode. Bios version 1.02

I have sent three emails to the “aftersales” email address, none of which received a response. I opened a ticket with the seller and was given two choices, 1) return the tablet at my expense for repair, their estimated time frame three months including shipping. Obviously that was not really a choice. 2) Take a credit for future purchase – that one I took. In fairness to the seller at least I got some consideration from them for a problem which is not really their fault, it is a Teclast problem. I did however submit a review to that seller within a few days of receiving the tablet in which I outlined the SD problem, and that review was never published. Hopefully prospective buyers will Google before buying and find this thread, and others, before making a purchase decision. In my case I pre-ordered so did not have the benefit of knowing in advance.

Wait for a fix like everyone else. Seller did not give me a full refund, just a credit which amounted to about my original DHL shipping cost. I can live with the SD issue because I seldom need Windows and I don’t want to be without it for three months and pay shipping back to China. At least I got something.

Then the buyer pay to send back the tablet? And give you a credit to buy another

    one?

No such luck. They do nothing other than give me a little credit because of the problem. I keep the tablet with the SD problem. There is no fix (yet).

I’ve got the Plus Dual Boot A5C8, very annoyed how the 128GB cards don’t work and they keep selling it as a “feature” on all the sites

    -not visible in windows

-cannot format to anything but FAT32

-once i unmount, the tablet won’t recognise the card when i re insert it, so i’ll have to reformat and wipe all the DATA

I can kinda live with it this way (not brave enough to update BIOS, most probably bring me more grief etc) but not entirely happy, so imo, AVOID buying this tablet/brand unless you enjoy punishing yourself or you don’t care about the SD Card issues.

Wow wow wow…. Guys.. confirm, it WORKS. Memory card Micro Secure Digital XC 64GB SanDisk ANDROID Mobile Ultra (SDSDQUA-064GU46A) class 10 NTFS
Works in Windows and in Android . When changing OS from Windows to Android as everything works correctly and consistently. But if you change from Android to Windows again, the card stops working in Windows. We have to reset the settings in the BIOS. In any case, Well that at least Works as a memory card.
    The Reset procedure.
Go to the BIOS. Tab Save & Exit select Restore Defaults and click YES. Then click Save changes and exit.
