April 25, 2016 at 2:06 pm #34995Wellcome in the club…
April 25, 2016 at 9:10 pm #35056No, what I have is a A6C7.
Lucky you ! From all I have read A6C7 has no sd card problems.
I have A6C7 and I have sd card problems. I have a 32Gb Kingston that my tablet readed correctly the first days, but now suddenly has stopped to do it. Card works ok with android and other Windows sytems, as well as my x98 plus reads other cards, but not that Kingston anymore. I tried to format in android, ntfs, fat 32…
April 25, 2016 at 10:07 pm #35070and similar problem with A6C9 model, anybody? (also 32 Gb Kingston here)
davidApril 27, 2016 at 8:52 pm #35298Should both Android and Windows be able to read/write to the same card? Will the file/folder structure be the same on both?
April 27, 2016 at 9:15 pm #35302You must formato the SD as FAT32 to be able to use the same Sd card on both systems, and yes, the structure would be the same, no problem with it.
Only, if you have the Mirek ROM, also you can format the SD card as NTFS as well. Mirek ROM support NTFS file system.
April 29, 2016 at 12:12 am #35469There is a new update method BTW…
You must go to the device manager, then expand the firmware tree, and then double click on firmware system.
In the Driver tab we must click on update and search on internet and follow the instructions…
I never update a bios with this method before…
Just updated my A6C9 this way, sadly ram still at 533
May 6, 2016 at 9:52 am #36251My Kingston 64GB worked great (only card that worked for me) for a while and few days ago I flashed the 3.02 bios. Since then I get “error code 10” even with the Kingston.
I gave up, installed the Windows 8 drivers for now and I’m using my Sandisk 128GB.
Shame for the speed but at least it works. That’s the speed I’m getting with the 128GB card and Win8 drivers:

Oh God… this is insane…
Just one suggestion… Take off the SD Card, go to Bios and then reset defaults. Return to windows and DO NOT INSERT THE SD CARD, just have a look to Device Manager to see if everything is all right.
Turn off the tablet. Turn on and go to Android. Insert the SD Card when system is up. Check if the card is ok. Then turn to Windows and cross your fingers (foot ones too).
Let Us know how it was…

May 15, 2016 at 12:49 am #37355From what I understand, NTFS format on a SD card for sure will not be compatible with any Android OS. If you like the same SD card to be accessible by both Android and Windows OS the FAT32 format would be a better choice. I have been able to format my 64GB SD with FAT32 and it is recognized both in windows and the Android. In fact files can be shared between the two operating systems with no problem. (e.g. I downloaded some exercise video in the Android and copied them to the SD card, and the same video can be played in my windows 10 media player.)
I have read that exFAT is better for 64GB or larger SD card, but that format is not recognize by the Android OS consistently.
May 15, 2016 at 3:06 pm #37419Thank you very much!. I just performed it and my 32GB SanDisk Extreme SDHC card ist working.
“Reset BIOS, restart in to Windows and Format the SanDisk.”
May 15, 2016 at 3:46 pm #37422I am glad the fat32 is working for you. But I am not sure why and how you need to “reset BIOS” Android 5.1 is not a very good OS. I am having all kinds of issues with it. Please see my post on Android 5.0 vs 5.1. I am hoping that someone will have some insight without the need for rooting the tablet.
