Hi Mirek,
Thank you so much for your ROM. Your work adds a great value to the tablet which was, to my opinion, a total scam on Android without it. Battery life has become decent and the stability is quite OK now !
That said, I’d like to report you a few glitches that I’ve encountered. Maybe you can address them in a further release :
- From time to time, I loose the wi-fi config. I have to re-enter the security key.
- Wi-fi sensibility seems to be weaker than stock
- Here are a few “stock glitches” that still happen (although rare):
- Random crashes
- Black screen when exiting from sleep mode : I press the volume button to display the lock screen but I only get a black screen. The screen is back on and it reacts to my gestures (I can hear the sound) but it’s definitely black. I have to force a reboot to keep working.
I have a K9C6. I use it for web, email, ebooks, Netflix. Basic stuff.
Thanks again for your great work !

I have no idea – you can try – that not brick your device – in worst way you just flash original system again .

Hi Mirek, do you have any estimate about the total battery life run time under “normal” use?
January 6, 2016 at 6:14 pm #21404Hey. Thank you for your work mirek, and everybody for sharing information.
I’d like to ask you guys to test location, in google maps app for example. Does it work? I can’t find location under android, while it works perfectly under windows.
Thanks!
January 6, 2016 at 7:51 pm #21409Unfortunately it seems that even mirek can’t fix the location problem on google maps….
January 6, 2016 at 9:18 pm #21418Hi Mirek. Thank you for your valuable work.
I’ve just purchased X98 Pro tablet and loaded your ROM the next day.
Windows needs big portion of work, but now at least android is optimized – looking forward for your new updates.
Take care and all the best in 2016!

Hard to say – but on web browsering , some YouTube , reading etc – i think at least 7 hours on 40 % brightens.
Heavy games – maybe 4 hours ?

Try with a different cable or a differnet pc, with the drivers installed correctly, the ROM is installed without any issues…
mirek, out of interest how are you modifying the rom? extracting the system images making the changes and repacking and flashing to test? i’m thinking about trying to modify it a bit to get rid of the screenshot/volume from the navbar (does my head in)..
great work mate, egarly awaiting the next build, android is so much more stable now, I don’t care about W10, I only use it to stream my XBOX ONE.
