All links are expired. Could someone please restore them?
August 17, 2017 at 2:37 pm #70718I got that kind of error too…. and I think it’s due to the windows hidpi scaling is bad, try to use the custom scaling (120%) instead of the recommended (125%) and voila…. at least it works for me…
The recommended value is 150% in my ezbook 3 pro…
August 6, 2017 at 1:32 pm #70186Update the Intel GFX drivers with the Intel driver update utility see if that fixes it.
r
Hi Chris, intel drivers are already all updaed through Intel driver update
Someone else had the same thing, think they reinstalled windows.
Hi sportnok, could it be enough to reinstall windows through the recovery options in Bios or should I reinstall in a different way?
August 5, 2017 at 6:48 pm #70169Ciao Angelo, never seen before, but maybe you can try to use a different SO (ie Linux) to check if the flasging bar disappear. If the problema vanish, the it’s a windows trouble (I hope for you). Ciao.
Ciao FatEnzo, grazie.
I think it is a software issue because if I move the task bar at the top of the screen the problem disappears. I would not change OS unless it is strictly necessary because 10 is great for me…
August 4, 2017 at 7:41 am #70102Hey guys, I’ve got my touchpad working pretty much perfectly now and I also get no frame drops watching 4k on chrome so this is what I did: Re-installation of windows 10 creators. Updated all drivers using IObit driver booster 5 beta before using windows update (the best driver software I’ve used) Install Intel I/O from the russian forums that oliver linked (The other driver linked to google drive was already installed after windows update and iobit driver booster did its thing) in touchpad settings change to Most Sensitive. In mouse settings decrease mouse speeds by 2 notches and keep “enhance pointer position” ticked and set scrolling to 1 bar at a time. In the bios: Enabled toupad device (disabled by default but I think it adds a better driver), added the bios tweak to improve emmc speeds Download PRIO process manager and in task manager set chrome processes to high priority and prio will automatically save these settings I haven’t tested this but doing the re-install of windows 10 I feel like it increased the jumpers battery life by about 1 hour- 1:30 Please note re-installing windows 10 is completely optional, I have done this 1000 times so do this step with caution if you know what you are doing. I hope this helps everyone out.
Thanks for sharing this James, something I did not understand:
-Are Intel IO drivers from russian forum different from those linked in google drive by Oliver or are they the same?
-In mouse settings you decresed the speed by 2 notches starting from witch position? The center of the bar?
-Where did you exactly found that option about “enabling touchpad device” in Bios?
Thank you
Angelo
August 1, 2017 at 8:19 am #69958My 2 finger scrolling improved a lot after reducing the number lines settings from 3 to 2 lines.
Yes, I can confirm that. I’ve set up it to 2 too…
August 1, 2017 at 8:04 am #69957Hi Angelo, sorry for the late answer, I have been busy with work (I work in IT, unfortunately
) I found a driver package from a Russian forum, wich contained the Intel Serial IO. You can access it from this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B8dtOv_EAKXwVlowZ1RNVFNybVU But another user here also linked to a Google drive with EZbook drivers and these are in separate folders, so you won’t have to download a 1GB archive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BxulJuGj9f7QZWFWSzNEMVhlV2M (Folder “SIO”) I only tried the drivers from the huge archive, but I guess they should be identical.
Oliver, I tried this and apparently when I started to install the IO drivers from the second link it says that those drivers are already there so it asks if I want unistall drivers or rerplace them. I clicked replace, so now I think I have IO dirivers but I probably had it also before.
I discovered an option in advances mouse settings that helped me a lot in drag windows. Actually click and drag was a pain in the neck with ezbook 3 touchpad. Now if you enable “activate click lock” (I do not know if this is the right translation in english because I have it in italian and it’s “Attiva blocca clic” so I guess it will be something like “activate click lock”)…
enabling this will allow you to drag windows without keeping mouse button clicked. I hope this helps…

July 27, 2017 at 7:26 am #69725I don’t know if anyone else has tried those registry tweaks, but I did. It could be what I am used to but I found them too jumpy. I reverted back to my old settings within five minutes of use. So, yea, make sure you make a backup of the Key before you edit it. Here are the settings I am using right now: “MouseSpeed”=”1” “MouseThreshold1″=”6” “MouseThreshold2″=”10” “MouseSensitivity”=”6” I am interested in seeing more about the Intel Serial IO driver, but you would hope the Intel Driver Utility would update that too if it found any problems.
I tried yesterday to find drivers with the Intel Driver Utility…it doesn’t find any Intel Serial IO driver to update, I guess it would be a manual install…
July 26, 2017 at 6:58 am #69687Thank you Chris and Oliver, this may be a real plus, could you please Oliver provide a link to download that?
July 25, 2017 at 12:26 pm #69637Two finger scrolling. Leave one finger static and in contact with the pad, then scroll with one other finger.
Yes, good idea!
Any suggest concerning the touchpad drivers update ?
October 21, 2016 at 10:36 am #55339Hi guys I have just one question: how to reinstall ONLY android (and do not touch windows) stock rom for A6C7 version? This thread is clear explained but it’s for A6C9…why is not present another thread for A6C7 tablets?
June 4, 2016 at 2:23 am #39805I think I have solved the screen on problem for me: I have deactivated the clock app, because it runs in background when tablet is in sleep mode. After I have done this the screen goes intantly on if I press the power button.
Thanks for sharing. I will try this also. This problem of waking up the device is becoming more and more annoying
June 2, 2016 at 10:18 am #39590Yes, it is. But one question about this. Can tell me someone if the button to turn off the screen does the same thing than suspend mode? battery consumption will be the same?
In windows is the same!
June 1, 2016 at 5:33 pm #39510sable auto update of the app from the play store settings was the first thing I did. Nothing changed for me…
I have the same issue after sleep mode until I change “Settings-Screen-Suspend” to “Never”. Try this
Thanks for the suggest, so I set it to “never” and I manually power off the screen every time, isn’t it?
May 30, 2016 at 9:52 am #39122<!–more–>
I have a big problem with this ROM, sometimes the tablet doesn’t wake up from sleep pressing power button and I’m forced to restart it…anyone has my same issue?
<p style=”text-align: left;”>There are two causes : – the sd (extract it and test without it) – the Google play auto update system. Disable it.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Already tried both! Disable auto update of the app from the play store settings was the first thing I did. Nothing changed for me…
-
