July 15, 2017 at 7:15 am #69261I’m still looking for a working active pen. Anyone with experience and tipps, which one is working reliably?
June 17, 2017 at 3:38 pm #68261So for the time being I configured in the power settings of Windows 10 that the OS should hibernate as soon as the lid is closed or the power button pressed. Due to this the device is keeping its battery level when carrying it around in the backpack. Still it seems that the Lenovo Thinkpads have some decent power management features…
June 11, 2017 at 6:00 pm #68060Any news to that?
June 11, 2017 at 5:37 pm #68057You find the latest image from Teclast here: http://www.teclast.com/en/firmware/showtools.php (ID: K3J2).
June 6, 2017 at 8:47 am #67853As Adam described in another thread you should be able to install / reset the device to a plain Windows 10 version easily. Either use the MediaCreationTool from Microsoft, or reset via the build in mechanism of Windows 10…
AFAIK the new install should activate as usual as the product key of Windows is tailored into the device internals…
June 1, 2017 at 9:49 am #67670my Teclast has a TPM module build-in. At least Win 10 pro shows me that and also makes use of it for the bitlocker full drive encryption…
June 1, 2017 at 9:37 am #67668is this just a suggestion or are you quite sure that there are drivers missing? If so, any idea how to get them? Have the same issue with the Teclast Active Pen: It isn’t recognized as pen (e.g. in OneNote) so you have to enable the touch compatibility layer to use it (and that’s not very accurate)
April 24, 2017 at 1:51 pm #65936was willst du dafür noch haben? Kannst du Fotos davon anhängen? Wann gekauft? …
April 22, 2017 at 12:56 pm #65842Just received the Inatek charger from Amazon and can confirm that it is working.
April 20, 2017 at 4:37 pm #65778This one looks like a good fit, but haven’t tested it yet. Still from the specs it looks good: https://www.amazon.com/Inateck-Portable-Delivery-Chromebook-Laptop-White/dp/B06XDN9Z29/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1492706187&sr=8-10&keywords=usb-c+pd+charger
Can someone confirm a valid choice of charger for the USB-C port?
April 20, 2017 at 1:38 pm #65770same here with the charging adapter from my MS Lumia 950xl (5V, 3A, USB-C 3.0). Could it be that the charging adapters didn’t fit the specs shown in the PDF? Does it require a specific USB-C adapter to work? Does someone get it to work already? How does Quick Charging impacts the overall time to charge the device?
April 20, 2017 at 1:15 pm #65769Basically follow these steps:
- download and extract the firmware archive
- open up the device manager of your Windows system
- look for the entry System Firmware beneath Firmware
- right click on it and select Update Driver
- in the dialog box that pops up choose I want to select a local folder and navigate to the location to which you extracted the archive
- Windows will copy the new firmware files and ask you to restart the tablet
- during the reboot the system will install the new firmware and might reboot multiple times
- stay tuned and wait until Windows comes up again
Hint: If you use Bitlocker to encrypt your boot drive you should have your Recovery Key at hand as after the firmware update Windows will ask you for that…
April 20, 2017 at 1:12 pm #65768You can use Google Translate to upload the embedded PDF file, select translate from Chinese -> English and have the document translated in the browser.
