About the same with mine, A sandisk 64gb. At first I was working fine, being recognised on both windows and android. Then windows didn’t find it at all, then it would disconnect by itself on android. Finally today after flashing mirek’s new ROM it doesn’t work at all. The worst thing is that after I try to copy something to it, it crashes the whole tablet and Ι can’t even restart it. I can only long press to turn off and on again. Such a shame, with the extra space it would (finally) be perfect.
April 17, 2016 at 2:48 pm #33946Is there a way to install or move apps to the SD card?
April 3, 2016 at 8:27 am #31792After a few days the ROM looks and works great. Suggestions for future versions:
Programmable keys (I like to long press square on my one plus one to go to previous app)
Close all apps button on recent apps.
March 27, 2016 at 10:31 pm #31074The ROM seems to be faster than Supercowz’s. A couple of issues for me: 1) I selected a clean install but all my data were kept. 2) I can’t find the setting for 3-5-7 buttons on the bottom 3) Messenger doesn’t work. I tried some older versions but they don’t work either. Does anyone know a version that certainly works?
for 2) you need to connect the phone to your computer while running android and run the file buttons_mod.bat (its in the readme) for 3) i think thats the same issue as with facebook. mirek said new facebook versions are not running on x86 cpus, but i could’t google that nowhere
Clean install works well ( tested many times ) Are you sure you have choosen proper option ?
For 1 I guess I chose the wrong option
for 2, I’m sorry I should have read it, only read to the rom installation
for 3, I found a version that works, 15019195

I tried deleting data, uninstalling and reinstalling but it didn’t help. Anyone else having the same problem ?
March 14, 2016 at 9:31 pm #29409Erasing the cache seems to have solved it for now..thanks!
March 12, 2016 at 9:11 am #28994Sorry, I was’t at home, I’ll try with Mirek’s tool now and update you as to what happens.
Edit: It worked! Everything seems to be working perfectly! Thank you so much for your help!
Is it possible to remove windows (safely) without deleting android files? I’m thinking about doing it sometime later, I had the windows only version (bricked it) and didn’t see any use for it.
March 11, 2016 at 10:11 pm #28936Same problem, it stops to what seems to be a boot screen, I’m not experienced with tablets.
March 11, 2016 at 6:30 pm #28881Ok, guess I mixed up my guides. I’ll try it this way, thanks a lot.
March 11, 2016 at 6:08 pm #28875Does the tablet have to be turned on in android to flash the new rom? Otherwise it says that it is disconnected and can’t flash the device.
Update: Entered dnx fastboot mode, the flash tool recognised the tablet, but when i pressed flash it said “flash failed”

February 6, 2016 at 7:21 pm #25174I think I just bricked it..I followed the instructions and run update_win then I showed “passed” and the update box closed but it didn’t restart..So I pressed restart and now it won’t turn on no matter what I press.. Any help?
February 4, 2016 at 3:50 pm #24966Is it possible to convert it without a hub and if not why? Also which hub did you buy?
February 2, 2016 at 9:36 am #24734Woooooooo, got it fixed. Man that was a couple of days of misery trying everything and reading just about every post on an X98 tablet. In the end what I did was disable everything in the bios. I set OS Image ID to Android. (It normally defaults to Windows.) In Boot option priorities I disabled everything. Saved changes then hit Android-IA in boot override. The tablet tried to boot to Windows but crashed with a blue screen with a large

</noscript>saying it couldn’t complete and would shut down and restart. I let it sit for a couple of minutes and it restarted and went into the OS Select screen with the Android and Windows logos. I went to the top of the screen on the left and there were the small Android, Windows and Folder logo. Touching the Folder showed OS and Menu. I touched menu and it brought the 3 little icons back. I pressed folder again and it put a check (tick) mark in it. I pressed the large Android logo and it booted into Android. Couple of shutdowns and boots into Android and Windows using the OS Select screen and everything is back to normal. The bios had reset to showing Windows as OS Image ID and the Boot Priorities now show Boot Option1 Android-IA Boot Option2 UEFI Boot Option3 Disabled (I changed them to Android, Windows and UEFI) Everything seems back to normal. Phew……..That’s great! Can you write what steps you took to make it dual boot?
