OK, thank you for your feedback.

I believe I looked at all the posts in this forum Teclast X98 Plus, and I did not see this information.

    Best regards.

I don’t understand: you are talking about “Android files v1.07 for A5C8”

Is this another distribution of Android 5.1, not the Mirek ?

    Because I use “mirek190_v3_20160418”.

And you mention also “X98 Plus (A5C8) – Dual System -Android5.1-V1.05 firmware version: first release.”

    Could you explain please ?

    Thank you !

    To Fernando:

I had the same problem. I did not find how to get it back.

So, as far as I remember I simply flashed Android again (“dirty” install) (and maybe the BIOS aswell, not sure), and I got the boot menu again.

As I said, another way to fully empy the battery is to leave the tablet powered on on the BIOS menu untill the tablet stop.

You can access the BIOS by pressing “ESC” several time at the very begenning of the boot sequence (for this, you need to connect a physical keyboard on the USB port).

    Hello!

I can confirm: following unexpecteds shutdown in Android on my X98 Plus, I encountered battery problems.

(I believe a battery calibration problem in the OS)

It seems solved now after fully emptying of the battery by staying on the dual boot menu, (or on the BIOS menu) until the tablet shutdown,  and then perform a full charge (tablet powered off. It’s around 3-4 hours with the original battery charger).

By the way, remember that you can access the BIOS if you hit the “ESC” key several time early in the boot (need a physical keyboard connected to the USB port of the tablet)

Maybe I am wrong, but I have a a strong feeling that the touchscreen is much better after upgrading to Mirek 190 V3.

Try it, and let us know if you feel the same…

    Hello !

This is what I wrote this morning to Teclast ([email protected]):

    “Teclast X98 Plus Touchscreen issue…”

    “Hello !

There is a serious problem with the touchscreen of this device.

It is almost unusable with Android.

To give you an example: It is almost impossible to move an Android application icon with my finger.

Try it, you will see it…

(many users a complaining about this, see forums…)

This is already my second email to you about this problem because you never answered to my first message.

    Waiting for your prompt reply.

    Jacques.”

I strongly suggest that you also write to them if you encounter the same issue, so if they receive many complain, they will finally do something.

    Thank you.

    Hello !

I recentrly figured out why I had bad intermittently very bad perfomance on the wifi.

The wifi was strongly disturbed by “Bluetoohth” (using same 2.4 GHz band).

Indeed, when I was reading a streaming video from the web, I was used to listen the sound on my external speaker connected to the tablet via “Bluetooth”.

May be this info camn help you ?

    Ok, just to sumarize:

As my 128 GB SD card (formated in “NTFS” on my Laptop running Windows 10) is properly recognized and works fine when I boot on “Android”, I belive I can exclude any hardware compatibility problem between this 128 GB SD card and the Teclast X98 Plus (dual-boot version with Android 5,1 and Windows 10 Home edition), I believe there is a “Windows 10” driver issue.

Thank you for this trick for Windows, but what about Android ?

    I encounter the same issue.

It is almost impossible to move an icon !

    Very bad !

I temporarly solved this issue by using a mouse, but this is not possible when walking with the tablet…

There is really a problem !

Same problem than Car: It seems that we need a user ID to download files, but I cannot create one because the whole page is in Chineese language.

Can you download it for us and make it available in the “Download” section of “Teclast X98 Plus” on this “TechTablets” website ?

    Thank you !

    Thank you for your answer

<li style=”text-align: left;”>The question is not to resize the Windows partittion because there is anyway no more space available on this physical disk. My intention is to expand this “Windows” C: partition to another physical disk (the SD card). It is only possible if the entire “physical” drive is “dynamic” (Microsoft). My question is: if I convert the whole physical disk to “dynamic”, can I still boot to “Android” ?

“Extract your Windows 10 key from the Bios using the utility in the downloads section. **VERY IMPORTANT**”

Could you telle me how you do it ?

    Thank you.

    Hello!

Where can I download the official Teclast X98 Plus version of Windows 10 (pre-installed on my device) ?

I did not find any “Download” section on the official Teclast website below.
