I have to say my boot issues and random screen glitches have completely gone since I upgraded my bios. It’s well worth it if you manage not to brick your tablet.
April 11, 2016 at 4:27 pm #33057Anyone? Is my previous comment the correct procedure? Sorry for the double post, perhaps I’m being overly cautious, I just wanted to make sure due to the VERY limited support available. Thanks.
Or do what I accidentally did the other day and flashed it straight from the windows download folder whilst still in W10 with less then half a battery. It was a heart stopping moment I can tell you but went without a hitch.
February 16, 2016 at 6:12 am #26111Because I like to have more than one partition, it’s strange? But I did a mistake and couldn’t roll back it

February 13, 2016 at 7:49 am #25867Okay. I have to ask. Why are you shrinking partitions in the first place?
January 30, 2016 at 6:37 pm #24479I have been discussing with the (Chinese) seller for more than a week and opened a dispute to get AliExpress to help me. Both of them seem to have great difficulties understanding the issue…
Yes. I’m sure they do…
They just don’t want to go to the expense of honouring the warranty. I hope you get it resolved soon.
January 30, 2016 at 2:47 pm #24419I have a couple of Teclast x98 pros and a hi10. I don’t have any problems with the Teclast tablets but do have a few niggles with the hi10.
1. The screen goes funky sometimes with lines over it. I have to switch off and on.
2. It plain does not boot into windows and fails with a boot grub error forcing me to switch it off and on again.Overall I would say the Teclast is more stable. I still prefer the hi10 because I like the form factor and it’s 1080p screen. Go figure.
January 23, 2016 at 3:49 pm #23448I get the lines issue as well but not very often. I quickly press the power button to switch it back into sleep mode and then back on again an it’s good.
I’m thinking it must be a driver issue (I hope).
January 23, 2016 at 3:47 pm #23447Nope. I have not seen those on my tablet. Sometimes I get flashing lines on the display after coming out of sleep but switching off and on again resolves it.
January 20, 2016 at 4:39 pm #23154I doesnt see much difference btw “fix” and without it
I did the fix and the difference in volume is readily apparent. Thanks.
January 16, 2016 at 10:17 am #22517Mine sometimes boot sometimes wont \:
Same here but for the most part it’s a great tablet. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
January 14, 2016 at 9:40 am #22299Is the charge light a solid orange which would mean it’s fully charged.
If so. Press and hold the power button until it comes on.
January 13, 2016 at 7:32 pm #22237Very useful. Thanks.
January 7, 2016 at 11:13 pm #21519I had this error as well. Switching it off and on again a few times fixed it.
January 5, 2016 at 9:32 am #21263I have exactly the same issue, only got this Tablet today. How do we fix?
Was working fine prior to a shutdown. How do you switch it off, the only way I can reboot is to attach a usb keyboard and ctrl alt del to reboot but always goes to efi shell as per your screenshot
<hr />
I just pressed the power button for a long time.
January 2, 2016 at 9:24 am #20924Thank you. This is good information.
I’m going to install some older games to see how they run.
