Look at the previous posts:
@Paul: The USB-C to HDMI should work, while the powerbank will not work. It needs to be a USB-C with Power Delivery powerbank as @Aleksandr has posted. Even though it does 12V 1.5A, that is a QuickCharge function, which is not supported by the cube.
@Aleksandr: The RAVPower pack could/should work, but as said many times before, you never know until you try 😉November 17, 2016 at 11:12 am #57054For me putting it to sleep and waking up again also seems to work (most of the time). I never figured out which order of putting the card in and then sleep and wake up or first sleep and wake up and then the card in works best. One of the two usually works for me. I do not use the card reader often, so this workaround is bearable for me. But probably this is a similar solution as @ahrlad posted. So I will try that next time.
October 28, 2016 at 8:43 pm #55914I think it might be a power issue. I have the same behaviour, also it does not see my usb 3.0 on the mini usb 3.0 as external, so I cannot eject the drive. On USB-c it all works fine with an usb-c to usb-3.0-A adapter.
October 28, 2016 at 8:28 pm #55913Do you fell any difference for the touch/pen precision using the tempered glass? I have already bought it, but did not come around to install it yet… Also how well did you manage to get it dust and particle free?
October 28, 2016 at 8:07 pm #55909Yeah, I also was wondering already. I opened the Cube for the thermal mod and there are two 4500mah cells inside, so 9000mah * 3.7V = 33.3Wh… So the “design capacity” is actually 33.3Wh not 43.3Wh…
October 10, 2016 at 12:56 pm #54588So my experience with the 12V battery is not that great. It did charge the cube book for about 1 hour, then the voltage dropped so far that it said charging, but it was actually discharging. I opened the battery up, so see what is actually inside…
Surprise, surprise it is actually a 2500mAh battery (3s LiPo), no charging circuit, no balancing. So, I would not recommend these things.

But as there are many different standards out there, the only way to be sure of it, is test it and please report your findings here :). But it is nice to finally see PowerDelivery enabled power banks.
I ordered for now a 12V Â Li Ion batttery:
The disadvantage is of course the need for a different charger, since it is normal DC jack and not USB. But it is for a fraction of the price, so I will give it a try.
I deferred from AGM and other lead type batteries, since I want to be able to take the battery on an airplane and the 3cell Li Ion battery should give no problem.
September 26, 2016 at 11:19 pm #50829Yeah, I was also somewhat surprised that it worked. But I can run my Dell u2711 at the native 2540×1440 resolution on the cube with the DisplayPort adapter.
I would also love to see some USB-C PD power banks. Seeing that QC already provides up to 12V it should be possible. But then again USB C seems to be very confusing.
I will probably resort to building a cable with a inline 12V boost converter to plug into the normal DC jack and on the other side into USB (maybe multiple ports, to get enough power). Let’s see if that will work.
September 23, 2016 at 4:20 pm #50473I did not find any information about USB-C to DisplayPort on the Cube i7 Book. I am happy to announce that DisplayPort over USB-C works.
Using this adapter:
