Gearbest send a replacement and it’s fine.  As far as I can tell.  It’s a new unit (different serial number) and go through the same Windows Updates and all is well.

Except the MicroSD which .. i am no longer want to bother – as long as I still have space in Windows at least.  heh heh.

I posted this earlier on July 11 and did not come back. The shipment on July 15th. The tablet now won’t charge at all. It does not come with a charging adapter which they promised earlier. Opened ticket with Gearbest for return now and get the RMA. Too bad. Not a good experience at all.

Updated: I just got a notification (after tens of following up through their tickets) that my new unit is being shipped out today.  🙁  Too bad.  For the record only.

Note: Before sending the unit back, i was able to video and send them a link.  Wipe out all my data and when sent, the unit still has some 10% battery on it.

Had exactly the same problem.  But I do not think my case is because of letting the battery fully drained.  I was using the tablet the other day.  I’m sure that battery is still 30-40%.  Plugging in a charger and it won’t charge.  No sign of charging (Windows/Android).  Switching several adapters and cables.  Then, attempting to use the OTG cable and it won’t notice it either.

Contacting Gearbest and they accept a RMA.  Now that it is sent back and still waiting a replacement unit to ship back.  I was thinking that it maybe a faulty unit I had. Maybe, I was wrong.

Sent mine back to Gearbest and will see if they can either refund or replace the tablet.   On mine, there is no burning smell or it’s evaporate through the air already by the time I noticed it.

It seemed that the USB port itself is completely stopped working, not accept charge nor OTG, I used it until the very last minute attempting to wipe my data out before shipping it back.  🙁

    i got it works fine on 16 / 32 / 64 man.

got a strange behavior after the update though.  happening all the time.

if i put Windows to Hibernate, when restarts, Wifi will not reconnect.  Device will disappear.  Works when shutdown and restart.

Heh heh tested popping in and out a few cards and all work ok.

it works right the first time on my restart. But it takes three restarts for it to stop warning for me.

I should stop swaping card as the eject mechanism may stop working as above.

Restarted three times doing the same thing and now the reminder to restart in Device Manager is gone.

Do not have extra TF Card to test, but at least the one inserted to the tablet now works.

    THANKS.

When system is restarted, I confirmed that now can see/use the SD card as supposed to.

However, when going back to Device Manager, system firmware says 3.03 and keeps asking me to Restart to update.  Once doing that, it do the updates again.

I did that step twice and still Device Manager asking me to Restart to update.

Ordered teclast tbook 11 Since 06/24 And also the tablet case on 06/25 The case already already arrive with Kerry Express While the tablet itself still somewhere en route.

The people at kerry still figure out where they are. Gearbest support asked to wait. shit, this is my first experience ordering tablet from them. Had ordered a lot of things before including the vacuum robot which arrived well through DHL.

At the moment, gearbest asked to wait up to 30 days to open official claim. Terrible indeed.
