    Hello everyone!

I’ve got a new interesting hub + charger, today I received the ‘Powerhub’ from the kickstarter project, it basically is a hub and powerbank with 3 USB 3 ports and HDMI which charges your tablet as well. I can confirm that it works with the Apple 29W charger plugged into the hub and another USB-C cable from the hub to the tablet.

Archlinux is quite a nice distribution, you could even install it on a simple USB-stick and run Windows from the SSD, but this will be slower than installing on the SSD.

I like this tablet as it has mostly Intel stuff inside (Graphics, Processor, Wireless & Bluetooth) and Intel actively supports Linux so it all works relatively easy. I don’t expect the webcams to work easily soon, but well that is not one of the most important things.

An issue I had with Linux so far through is that I couldn’t get it to work properly with the HiDPI screen. Everything is so extremely small! I tried some suggestions in the Archlinux wiki but that didn’t help me sadly. Have you had similar issues or does the distribution recognised it correctly out of the box?

I have already purchased a 20x20x1mm copper shim and 100x100x1mm thermal pad in order to do this mod, but I cannot return them anymore. How much ‘danger’ will it cause to my Cube if I use these instead of the recommended 0.5mm shim or pad? As I’m a student I would not like to spend too much on it, but having to ‘push the screen back’, as Chris called it does not seem like a very good situation for the tablet.

Windows somehow installs the wrong stylus drivers, at least it did for me. You should google for the Wacom feel drivers, my phone somehow does not allow me to paste the link.

Besides this, you should uninstall the old drivers; which can be done by right clicking on my computer and select manage, navigate to the devices tab and search under HID/input devices for a device with an exclamation or question mark near it. You can uninstall it by right clicking it and pressing uninstall. Also select the option to delete the drivers.

It could be that some things are called slightly different; I have the dutch version of Windows

    Hello,

In my experience you’re better off using the usb3 cable delivered with the laptop, not only will it be much faster (the keyboard uses USB2 I thought), I also think it is better able to power the drive this way. Don’t ask me why but this is from personal experience with the tablet

I haven’t thought of that, but that could be a problem for me as well considering I use the keyboard too. It does not look like there is a lot of space for the screen-protector if it covers the whole screen. Besides this there is literally no space for the screen-protector at the bottom, where the keyboard and the tablet meet. Is there anyone who has both the tempered glass screen-protector and the keyboard who can shed some light on this issue?

Hello! I am curious whether your issues with memory cards are resolved. I am considering buying a microsd card, but would like to buy one of at least 128gb; which seems to give issues.

Besides this, it *should* support cards up to 2tb right? So I could safely purchase a 200gb card once the issues are resolved.
    Thank you in advance!
