How to do it?
I have V3 but will have access to V4 soon.
October 7, 2017 at 9:04 pm #73156I have an Ezbook 3 Pro V3 with a matte touchpad. Today I have updated it to the Fall Creators version of Windows 10 (well, latest Insider, but it is likely an RTM).
After Fall Creators Update, the precision of the touchpad has finally improved!Windows build update reverted all driver changes I made before, and applied the default ones. I have re-installed the ELAN driver posted in this thread before, just to get Precision Touchpad settings. The overall experience seems to be the same on both drivers.
The only remaining issue is now the incidental “bounce back” while scrolling with 2 fingers, but now it is much less frequent than before.
Really, now I have nothing to complain about with this touchpad. It is just OK.
My current settings in OS:
Cursor speed: 3
Touchpad sensitivity: Low
Registry settings (attached):
MouseSensitivity:25
MouseSpeed:10
Thresholds:0Attachments:

- Precision Touchpad settings available, after installing aforementioned ELAN drivers (Synaptics does not work at all, no changes in dev mgr)
- Registry tweaks still necessary, especially for the Sensitivity, Speed and Thresholds (do you have any hints?)
- Precision still insufficient – the cursor does not move smoothly, but makes little hops, squared lines while drawing 8’s in Paint
- Scrolling issues still persist, the page could go in opposite direction for a few lines during scrolling
- It is still much worse than in three other laptops I use frequently
I’ll compare it with V4 within a week.
September 16, 2017 at 9:51 pm #72225In a week I will meet my friend, who also bought Ezbook 3 Pro after my recommendation. Therefore I will be able to directly compare V3 (AC WiFi, M.2, bad touchpad) and “V4” (with tiny flap for SSD, new BIOS and Precision touchpad). I wonder if Chris will do it before me.
It will be interesting to see if there are any hardware changes. For now I suspect the touchpad might just have new drivers and tweaks.
September 16, 2017 at 3:36 pm #72201I also confirm it works on 3 Pro v3. Thank you!

August 3, 2017 at 5:54 pm #70079Do you have the screw holes, as shown here?

Try to contact Jumper. Maybe they will confirm the daughterboard would work, and agree to sell you one. I think it is a standardized part for many brands, so you can also look for it in the Net.
August 2, 2017 at 10:07 am #70019I have ordered silver AC version on Gearbest a week ago ($250), unfortunately there is still a slow eMMC.
TouchPad is terrible, everything else looks OK.
