My screen went completely black and i don’t know how to get it back on. At first i thought maybe i ran out of battery. But i charged out and still nothing. How do i get it back. And no i don’t have a magnet case. I have no case. I haven’t even had it a week.
Need more info… When you plug in charger, does the light blink on the corner? Were you able to turn it on before? What were you doing when it shut off?
January 4, 2016 at 7:22 pm #21212Looks like a BIOS issue.
January 3, 2016 at 1:53 am #21045January 2, 2016 at 6:42 am #20914….How can it be solved with software? Isn’t it a hardware issue? I think I can solve mine by just putting a thin layer of steel behind my tablet.
January 2, 2016 at 2:24 am #20904Yeah okay, nevermind again. I just tested it again, it does shut off as well. Fucking Chuwi man….
January 2, 2016 at 2:21 am #20903What? Flip covers are meant to turn the device into sleep…. What’s the issue here?
OHHHH nevermind, just finished watching the rest of the video. Yeah, it’s not suppose to shut device off if the cover is in the back. Luckily mine didn’t have that issue.
January 2, 2016 at 2:15 am #20902So this guy makes a fresh account just to announce Hi12? Really? That doesn’t seem sketchy to anyone else?
December 31, 2015 at 7:54 pm #20752As kurai said, never try this if you’re not experienced unless there’s a huge community behind the product that is willing to put in the man hours to provide fixes. That’s why iPhones and iPad can be fixed from being bricked, huge community. Hi10, however, is not.
December 31, 2015 at 7:48 pm #20750For me, I’d never use quick charge on Chinese marketed devices… I don’t trust the safety mechanism…
As for the charger, the Hi10 comes with a charger inside the package. I received an Euro plug, so I had to buy a US one… VC Lemon decided not to send me a charger and aliexpress can’t do anything about it, or so they told me.
For charging, max amp for Hi10 is rated at 2A for 5 volts. If you try to use 5.3V rated at 2A, it’ll cause very slow charge, I tried it.

Hey do me a favor, do a test by transferring files from your flash drive to desktop. CrystalDiskMark just tests the speed by its port, not real-world performance. I need to see if my speed is same as your since we have same flash drive.
December 31, 2015 at 2:07 am #20651Not aliexpress, seller named VC Mall/VC Lemon. They have terrible customer service.
December 30, 2015 at 8:14 pm #20606Are you associated with Chuwi?
December 30, 2015 at 6:59 am #20505During those transfer duration, CPU temp reached 83C, tablet is on my leg, so it was freaking hot.
December 30, 2015 at 5:47 am #20500I got 64 bits and it’s working fine, sometime the screen display became “white” after the screen saver and back to normal after press the “on/off” button. Anyone encouter the same problem?
You got lucky, at least you can make it go back to normal by pressing the button. I had to do a hard shut off.
December 30, 2015 at 2:54 am #2048632-bit Windows version. One problem I encountered was that the tablet powers off itself when I plug in a external USB hard drive if the battery is below 50%.
….To be honest, that sounds like a big problem… Especially if you use it for school…
