I will add a part about how to change language and maybe some other details in the following days.

After I flashed it to dual boot, installed android and windows, I flashed mirek’s rom.

You get a couple of options with mireks flash, one of them was delete windows and install android on the full 64gig (this will end in 1gb for the system partition and the rest for data), i did that.

I think that windows 10 is ok for pc’s but it’s shit for tablets, only android is so much better.

My camera doesn’t work as well, but I haven’t had time to test around and have just installed the mirek rom, nothing else. Playstore works after deleting the app cache from google play services.

I had done that once or twice, to check out all the new posts about the x98. Is it possible that my ip is in some kind of throttling filter?

Did you install all 3 of the .exe’s in that order?
I also was asked to install drivers, which I clicked yes to. I think on the 3rd exe, it asked me to overwrite some stuff, which I also agreed too.

Not much else to tell you, I’m on win7 64bit.

Hmm, that’s strange, since I’m in NL, 150Mbit/s line..  Server specs seem fine.

Not sure what to do now, tried it via my phone on 4G and it took 25 seconds to load a thread.

Oh well, maybe it’ll resolve after some time.

My pleasure, got a lot from this forum and wanted to give something back.

 

TAEL, I’m not too sure, this installs the teclast android. My next step will be to put on a custom rom. I don’t really know what remixOS is, but looking at their webpage for a couple of minutes I think it should be flashable after the dual boot proces, maybe? If there is a rom for the 98x plus.. Again, not too sure.

So your package was pre advised for 2 days only, jesus, mine is pre advised since the 11th.. getting very anxious (although i should know better because it’s not my first order from china).. Did you have to pay any money to customs?

I ordered mine on january 4th. Hope it’ll arrive soon. Glad you like your item and everything went fine. 🙂

I read about some registry values (01 01 00 etc.) and I read about someone who contacted the Kionix people directly and they helped him out. Maybe you could do the same. gl

Did you do this with the x98 as well? Because I’m planning to do the same when my tablet arrives.

Madmax, you advised against it, but since doubledriver backs up all the drivers you need, I think it can do no harm, unless you have another reason?
