Thanks so much I really appreciate your help. Between you and Michael I’m definitely sold. I’m sure this will be helpful to others as well. I’ll likely order within the next few days and make a post/review when it arrives.
You are more then welcome 🙂 I’d suggest you buy it from the Aliexpress Jumper Official Store.
I bought mine there (2nd update with M.2)and now they have the 3rd update in stock with wireless AC.
July 13, 2017 at 7:42 pm #69188Hi Michael, Thanks so much! That’s definitely encouraging to hear. How would you compare the screen to a MacBook? Thanks!
The screen is great, ofc you won’t get those vibrant colors you get on glossy screens but i prefer matte finish. Lacks a bit on maximum brightness but its nothing that will bother you unless you use it under direct sunlight.
July 13, 2017 at 4:45 pm #69179I can tell you that im using it as a daily driver since a few weeks and i love it. I use an office suite, google docs, chrome and do some light photo editing with no issues at all. The pc is alway snappy and can manage multi tasking pretty well. This is said from someone who is used to Macbook Pro/Air or other high end Windows laptops. So don’t worry this can be for sure your daily driver.
July 8, 2017 at 8:39 pm #68938Hey BAMxi, the LED next to the charge port is always red when plugged in, it doesn’t change based on charge level or anything, even when 100%
Myne turns to green once the battery is 100% charged….It’s a very weak green but it’s def green. Check yours better 😉
June 29, 2017 at 1:31 pm #68620My issue with the touchpad is 2 finger scrolling on a webpage, toward the top and bottom of pages it goes briefly in the opposite direction. For the rest of its uses I have tweaked the settings and it works fine.
Keep 1 finger still and scroll only with the second finger 😉 it works fine then 😮
June 29, 2017 at 1:27 pm #68619but 3 weeks
my insides are dyeing. If only gear best has stock there free shipping option only takes 2 weeks at the most and is tailed ended by MyHermes and I have never ever been stung for import tax with them. Is there anywhere else with stock? Must be M2 Sata /AC ones
3 weeks is from China/Hong Kong to Cape Verde. I don’t know where you live but im sure it will be a lot faster for you 😉
June 28, 2017 at 7:34 pm #68573Aliexpress Standard Shipping. They ship with Singapore post which is an excellent service. I always use that, never payed taxes and usually receive goods in less then 3 weeks (very fast considering i live in a remote Cape Verdean Island)
June 1, 2017 at 2:59 pm #67681Ok, drivers in the download section are enough? the key is recognized directly from bios? Thanks Gabriele
Haven’t done it myself but yes the key is built in the pc. If you search on this forum you will find a few post of people who did it and explain how to.
May 31, 2017 at 2:18 pm #67631@brad @chris The 3S does look promising. In fact, it seems easier to get it in China at the moment than the Silver Ezbook 3 pro with SSD slot. However, in a comment somewhere else someone said it has a plastic body so it makes it think it could have the same keyboard flex problems that Chris pointed out with the Ezbook 3. I am skeptical but I would like to see it get a good rating as it has a bigger hard drive along with the same ram and cpu as the 3 pro.
Silver and Gold with M.2 SSD slot are available both on Aliexpress Jumper store. I did a lot of research in the past days as a result the only place I found with the M.2 model is aliexpress. Geekbuying has the silver one on sale atm but I have no idea if it’s M.2 or not… And they didn’t reply to my email so far. I just bought a Gold M.2 one on Aliexpress Jumper Store.
May 30, 2017 at 12:47 pm #67580Hello, I’m trying to buy an Ezbook 3 pro. The jumper store on aliexpress has the M. 2 version but the price just went up and it’s above 307$ with shipping. On the other hand Geekbuying has it for 229$ (silver) and 249$ (gold) both shipped. I sent a message asking geekbuying if it’s the M.2 model… But still no reply. I’m eager to hit the buy button at that price… I mean 77$ difference is a lot of money on this price range. If I get stuck with the non M.2 do you think that keeping the OS on the Emmc and adding a 128gb SD card for storage will cripple the performance? (will use it mainly for media consumption, web browsing, light Office and some League of Legends)
Eventually if anyone has some info on where I could buy the M.2 version at a good price let me know.
Cheers.
