I have same issue, but same as you don’t have solution, it’s very annoying..
August 30, 2016 at 8:02 am #48440Thanks,
Does someone use ThrottleStop to reduce Power Trottling? Any advice?
I’m searching for guide, because honestly it looks too complicated for trial end error.August 26, 2016 at 7:16 pm #48082For anyone who think this mod is easy… it’s not 🙂 It’s hard to count how many times my Book has been open …
Biggest issue for me were oil spots on screens, and as it turned out they were present even using orginal heatsink with glued coper plate…Result of my work is handmade copper heatsink with all holes in it. Now oil spot is almost gone but still a bit visible. Anyway I’m not going to open it again, never… ;).(
If you are thinking about light mod, and you are aware how hard it’s open Book at first time, just put additional thermal pad on orginal heatsink, it will improve it a lot an probably don’t cause any screen “pushing” issues.

I’m now on recommended termalmod, so using orginal heatsink, 20×20 coper plate and batter quality terompad. It looks to be sufficient.August 24, 2016 at 8:11 pm #47830Waspinator, you wrote:
The screw marked in red (bottom left) wouldn’t engage because a component was in the way. I would cut out a section of copper to fix it if I were to do it again, but the three screws seem to work well enough. It’s also pressed against the back of the case.
Can you tell us which element and why was problematic ? And why Chris was able to screw on all 4 screws?
August 23, 2016 at 7:35 am #47702One question
Do you use some thermal glue between heatsink and 20mm pad? or it same paste as for CPU ?August 23, 2016 at 6:38 am #47697What about charger? Will it fit too ?

August 5, 2016 at 8:04 pm #45759Thanks Chris for your involvement
I just got stylus and did anniversary upgrade, drawing using stylus doesn’t make any problem both before and after upgrade, and is fine same as for you.
But “touch and finger” is still corrupted. Can you do me a favor and check how your device behaves on edges but using finger?
Thanks.
August 5, 2016 at 7:52 pm #45757Thanks for this tip!
Issue is still present for me (even on anniversary update) but after this calibration I think it’s better. But I’m doing few more lines
tabcal devicekind=touch lincal novalidate XGridPts=11,60,200,1860,1909 YGridPts=10,60,1020,1035,1050,1068ico
I think X per each icon on taskbar may help, ofc. its all trial and error.
August 2, 2016 at 6:39 am #45311For me it is definetely hw issue, it happens only on bottom edge, for me somwhere on the middle of taskbar (if i press on edge tap is recognized correctly).
If screen is rotated (top become bottom) issue is not present anymore.
Maybe it could be addressed by some sw fixes which could mask this behaviour but without cube involvement looks to be hard.
Look on my OneNote “painting” there is clearly visible difference between top and bottom of screen.
Here is last movie i sent to Ele, almost 100% reproductible

How your discussion with Ele is going?
Are you going to send it back for refund / replacement?
July 28, 2016 at 8:04 am #44810Does it work more or less as for me ?
One note:
Paint:
I noticed paint to be less vulnerable for false movements.
July 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm #44725Thanks
I have same issue to, already did “Winodows reset” acording to Ele request but ofc it doesn’t solve anything. At moment they are asking me about visit in “local repair centre”… We will see how it will go.
Edit:
I’m playing now with Paint, and it look that I’m able to tap screen more than 100 times without any issues in it… This is strage, it should draw a line i think if swipe movement is detected… can you try on your device?
July 27, 2016 at 11:19 am #44689Thanks for answer,
I did restore using cube files from http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/windows-10-reinstall/Â and it works again.
