You should try this tool from http://www.tablette-chinoise.net (a french website on chinese tablets) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4u_5raZ4G7wVHVuT2xPV3dhcUU/view?usp=sharing This tool is supposed to root all Intel tablets, so it may work ! – Extract the tool – Enable USB debugging on the tablet – Connect the tablet to your computer – Run “3 Root-tablette-chinoise.net.bat” as Administrator (if needed, drivers are “1 IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.5.0.exe” and “2 iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.0.4.exe” – It should automatically root the tablet and reboot it – Check with Root Checker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck) I will receive my tablet soon from 18th sale ! If you find a way to root it, please tell us ! (Sorry for my bad English !)
Hey together,
I have rooted my Cube i6 with this tool successfully. But I have one problem since rooting the device. In Android it would not shut down anymore. The display backlight does not turn off and I have to do every time a hard reset when I want to turn off the device. Any suggestions?
December 20, 2015 at 3:21 pm #19302You can update the black version of i6 with this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-how-to-install-windows-10-t3252042
It works for me without problems. I have only some driver issues on windows which causes at the moment a permanent CPU load of about 15-20 percent. But this seems an Intel oder Microsoft problem, because many users have this since the 1511 Update: https://www.google.de/search?q=System+and+compressed+memory+cpu
December 20, 2015 at 3:18 pm #19301Okay. It also worked with the Bios 201 which you can get on the GeekBuying site.
December 11, 2015 at 8:58 am #18169Same on my K9C6 Model. It is completely dead after a flickering screen on Windows.
I try to press various combinations of buttons for minutes with plugged it in a charger and without. It would not turn on at all. When I use an USB detector when I put it in the charger it seems to load. But the tablet shows no loading screen at all. Has anyone tried to open the tablet and find the error?
Here is another thread about this problem: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/turned-off-and-wont-turn-on/#post-16654
I send mine back to the seller and they send me a new one. I hope I get it soon. But I am not sure if the seller gets mine. I send another doa tablet to China and it comes after 15 day back to me, because it is not allowed to transport the integrated lithium battery…
November 25, 2015 at 9:28 am #16654Now I try to charge over night. No change :/
I also try to connect an Micro HDMI Port to check if the display is dead. But there are also no signal.
Interesting is that when I connect my USB hub to the X98 Pro it will light up when I try to power on the tablet. And it light off when I holt the power again to power it off.
Anything makes the tablet when I try turn it on but it will not turn in fully or correctly. Any suggestion? I still have contacted the Banggood Support…
November 24, 2015 at 7:18 pm #16594Ok, now I try to reinstall Windows the tablet completely. Android installs without any problems and boots up. Then I try to restart for installing Windows. But since then the tablet will not turn on again: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/turned-off-and-wont-turn-on/
I am a little bit frustrated with my X98 Pro… 🙁
November 24, 2015 at 7:10 pm #16593Hmm now I have the same issue. It turns off, while I try to reboot from android. Since this the tablet wont turn on again. I test you suggestion with holding the power button for minutes but no answer from the tablet.
I see on my USB detector (because the tablet does not show the loading screen), that the tablet seems to load correctly. So I let it connected until the battery is full again. But it still will not turn on again.
Any suggestion?
November 15, 2015 at 8:14 pm #15868I’m not positive about it either, its just what you say: on paper fantastic. And Teclast must know by now the new 1.13 BIOS does NOT solve the blackouts. Its just stalling what they do. Ercalamar try going into the BIOS and change the IGB Turbo mode to DISABLE this seems to work for the users with blackout issue
Not for me… 🙁 The problem is still there…
November 15, 2015 at 7:45 pm #15866Hi together,
I have still this error. Last time with about 15% remaining power. Before on 80%.
Bios is updated. All driver are the latest ones (with Intel Driver Update Utility, Driver Booster found no updates). IGD is disabled. Only the thermal mod is not done yet.
Any alternative solution for the shutting down problem? Any advice, how can I reboot the device without waiting some time after this crash?
November 12, 2015 at 2:33 pm #15635Is it possible to get the Win 10 Firmware for the “old” black one?
I found some Firmware Update on Baidu, but can not download it without an account.
