$60 (+ $11 usd shipping to my country) might be too much for battery, also for the second link you send, the seller doesn’t send to my country and I doubt if the battery cell size fitted my tablet. Bookmarked the first link and thank you very much for your help. Might be buy it early next year with hope the price (and currency) will go down

I did open my tablet (almost break the pogo connector) & found the battery type is NV-3164148-2S 4000 mAh 30.8 Wh. But I still didn’t find battery replacement anywhere, even on aliexpress.

Yes, I can confirm if the site is legit. I downloaded the firmware myself and extracted and it contains the firmware including windows clean install

Also, if you want to download from baidu, you need Baidu account and its downloader.

If you in case don’t want any unwanted app, adware, spyware, etc (which in my case never see one even if the first setup was done by reseller), then yes, you can do full reinstall the windows using its firmware that shared by our friend on my thread or normal windows installation with driver provided above.

check boot order in bios setting, make sure windows is first boot, otherwise i can’t really help much since it never happened to mine. Also, last resort is reinstall windows using firmware @winterless share above

@winterless @chris i’ve tried to Install the driver, the other drivers are working, but sound driver is still dead. Looks like i’ll try to flash the firmware. Can you guys explain how to do it?

tried, but still didn’t want to “wake” the sound driver up. Maybe i’ll wait for your knote 5 driver dump instead & will try to restore all the drivers.

edit : The error said “The device cannot start (code 10)”. What could it be?

edit 2 : Found and downloading the firmware from Alldocube’s official website, but it’s Baidu which is always very slow  ;( . Hope I won’t make the same mistake as my iwork8 air 2 years ago T_T

Answer : I’ve confirmed that it has non-laminated screen. Just bought one, but the screen isn’t bad though

edit : Even viewing angle is better than what i thought it would be on non-laminated screen

yes, i flashed the bios from windows 10 & it failed dunno why, then it restarted itself & stuck at blank screen (the one after cube logo & before we choose dual boot option) & i do know the steps for reinstalling the firmware (which i got from Chris’s tutorials for reinstall the ultimate version)

tried to enter bios using escape button & didn’t work

looks like no bios installed & need to know how to install it without windows
