Yeah.

Send it back and don’t buy another hi10.

I had to do the same. They are buggy poorly constructed and are not worth the cheap asking price.

I never made it pass 30 mins of usage with out some kind of problem. Ie freeze. Wifi problems. Usb not working.

Still looking for the fabled good Chinese tablet.

Asked for help a few times and got no response. Guess everyone was busy trying to get there tablet working.

Mine is going back to seller,

Constant reboots, and black screen freezes which need the charger plugged in to get the tablet to boot again.

Thats twice i have been let down with Chuwi tablets.

My Vi10 used to think it was always had a charger connected and now this HI10 is faulty also.

If this is the standard of Chuwi tablets i am better off rid of them!

    They really are junk.

On the plus side i purchased an Onda V919 air CH on ebay for £70 and that tablet is rock solid not one freeze or crash.

I can’t see yours being fixed with a firmware update.

That looks like a faulty ips panel to me.

I would be wanting a full refund.

I had a faulty vi10 from gearbest and they were a nightmare to deal with.

The wanted to only give me gearbest credit and not a refund.

I escalated my dispute to a claim with PayPal and git it sorted.

Don’t take any nonsense from them.

    Hope you get yours sorted.

Mine seems to be working okay now. No more reboots and hard drive works fine with a y cable powering it.

Seems the portable hard drive in usb 3.0 port causes shutdowns for most people (me included)

Tried the same hard drive with usb 3.0 y cable and it works fine. Just means you have to use both ports. Usb 3.0 for data and usb 2.0 port for extra power.

    Hope that helps.

    Yeah that’s definitely busted.

The screen should never look like that.

I would open a claim with PayPal.

Mines fine with any usb 3.0 device just not my portable hard drive.

Not sure if the port can give enough power to power my hard drive.

Need to see if others have the same troubles.

chris you have any trouble with the tablet black screen shutdown when a portable usb3.0 hard drive is plugged in??

mine is fine when charger is connected.

the hard drive is a 1tb seagate, could it be the port not giving enough power?

usb 3.0 memory stick works fine.

    thanks

Mine came from a seller on ebay uk.

    Unwanted Christmas present.

Think that’s must be why it was unwanted!

Hope it’s just a firmware update problem .

Does yours reboot when a hard drive is plugged in in battery?

    Mine does this also.

    Fine on charger.

Battery was 61% off charger, plugged in usb 3.0 memory stick l. Black screen shutdown.

Had to reconnect charger to get to turn on.

    Rebooted and battery still 61%.

    Really weird.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Gutted. Was hoping reflashing the bios would have solved it.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>is there anyway this could be a simple fix?
