Do you own that powerbank? Could you tell us if the 30W charger could be also used to charge the Cube Mix directly? In that case we would have a powerbank and a charging device at the price of only one.
Yes, It works, but seems ravpower PD powerbank sold out everywere. Because It is working with Nintendo switch.
I already have 3 PD charger(Ugreen, Huawei Matebook, Ravpower) and It is all works with Cube tablets. I think all chargers with Power delivery Output more then 15W will work. Finally, We have universal chargers. I can charge my powerbank, laptop and phone from one power adapter.
March 24, 2017 at 6:38 am #63863Hi, is it possible to use normal car charger that have usual usb port to charge cube i7 book or it has to be the one that has usb pd capability? I tried my best to read through the forum and no one had this question before. Apologies if someone had asked about this, a newbie for usb-c here.
Only usb pd or dc charger.
March 19, 2017 at 6:50 pm #63701The RavPower powerbank is back in stock at Amazon. A bit pricey at £44 but it should provide three complete charges, or about 15 extra hours of power. It’s rated at 99Wh while the Cube i7 is rated at 32Wh https://www.amazon.co.uk/Portable-Charger-RAVPower-26800mAh-Recharge/dp/B01LZILJQ1
Silly question perhaps but can you use this powerback as a regular USB C charger as well. I mean, when the powerbank is empty hook it up to a socket and then hook it up to the Cube i7 Book for charging so it charges the powerbank and the cube i7 book simultaneously?
No, Simultaneously charging not working.

Which function do you want from dock?
December 7, 2016 at 9:27 am #58161I have Techorbits USB 3.1 Type C to Displayport. 4k 60Hz is working, mst and daisy chaining too.
https://www.amazon.com/TechOrbits-Thunderbolt-Compatible-DisplayPort-Adapter/dp/B01G2OB1WI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481102130&sr=8-1&keywords=techorbits+usb-c+displayport
Displayport is the best option for USB-C(Displayport alt-mode is most wide support in devices).
Power delivery may be a problem. I advise you to buy another dc charger.November 10, 2016 at 8:29 am #56671Anyone try this powerbank PD Type C Portable Charger RAVPower 26800mAh Battery Pack?
November 9, 2016 at 7:18 pm #56641You can buy any stylus with Wacom EMR technology (passive, without any battery). Try find old fujitsu/hp laptop stylus. Your dell pen looks like compatible. More info about it(surface 2 have the same digitaizer) http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/threads/tabletpc-compatible-wacom-pens-surface-pro-pro2-only.55416/
Screen protector is scratching not too fast with pen, but I have scratches from keyboard on it. I don’t have experience with glass yet.
Thermal mode not necessary for painting, for big IDE(Visual studio, IDEA) coding, may be.
October 6, 2016 at 11:36 am #53239Do you remove original thermal pad from CPU?
I make this: remove thermal pad, thermalpast, 20 mm copper, thermalglue, original aluminium heatsink, slice of thermalpad. I receive 68°C max(100% CPU, 2 hours testing).October 6, 2016 at 10:08 am #53173My experiences with USB-C accessories to Cube i7 Book:
“TechOrbits USB 3.1 Type C (USB-C & Thunderbolt 3 Port Compatible) to DisplayPort 4K UHD USB-C to DisplayPort Adapter”, working, 4k resolution working, Displayport MST also working. TechOrbits usb-c -> DP
“TechOrbits usb-c -> DP” + “Belkin Display Port to 2x HDMI Splitter Dongle (F2CD068tt)” does not work, not enough energy(I think) due adapter usb-c->displayport
“TechOrbits usb-c -> DP” + “SUNIX DPU3000” This is Displayport MST hub (allows throw one port Displayport get multiple ports or daisy chaining), working. I got 3 working external FullHD monitor (Cube screen need to be shut down, Intel graphics not support more than 3 display), also works on Linux (with some problems). The device need extra power throw microusb cable, power from usb keyboard of Cube is enough. I bought it at taobao, but on amazon have it too, link: [hide] SUNIX DPU3000 [/ url] [/ hide]
“Fujitsu CP323611-01 Stylus Pen” works, pressure sensitive also works, but when you press key on stylus far from screen, it will not working(pressed key, working as usual click)
“USB 3.1 Type C to NGFF M.2 B Key SSD Converter Card External Enclosure Box New”, runs on USB 3.0 speeds. With USB-C <-> USB-C cable also working only as USB 3.0 (Cube i7 Book port is USB 3.1 Gen1, ie the speed is 5Gbps only, no thunderbolt or 10Gbps, usb 3.0 controller within our PC: intel 9d2f).
“AUKEY USB-C to USB-C 3.1 Type C Male to Male Sync & Charging Cable (3ft) Transfer Rate Up to 10 Gbps For Typc C Supported device”, working for data and charging, as in the description“Ugreen Type-C PD 30W” not fully working, the cheapest USB PD charger 99 yuans (about 15$), when connected to the turned off Cube, it is charging; after turn on, it is continue charging. The problem with it, that if put on the charge under Windows/Linux charging it is not charging( I think charger and OS usb device manager can’t agree voltage). Link: Ugreen Type-C PD 30W
August 16, 2016 at 8:14 pm #47053Charger must support USB Power Delivery. No support quick charge.
You can try Innergie PowerGear USB-C.
