Thanks for your thoughts on the Ezpad David, was thinking of getting one but decided not to now.
September 8, 2016 at 11:41 am #49207Thanks the reply, I will check it out! As long as it doesn’t mess Android up as like you said that is much more optimized 🙂
September 8, 2016 at 10:29 am #49199Can’t believe they haven’t fixed the wifi, it is dire on the original Hibook. Seems to be a common problem on these kind of tablets. There are work arounds though, i’m using a wifi extender and a mini wifi adapter for when i’m not at home.
September 7, 2016 at 11:47 am #49102Hello, I am looking to upgrade to Anniversary update, how did you upgrade? Via automatic update or manually? How much space is required and how much free after update? What is the system wide Adblock you use? Thankyou in advance 🙂
August 24, 2016 at 6:54 am #47785I also have this problem with the Hibook (same chipset?), did you find a solution?
August 23, 2016 at 8:07 pm #47761I can confirm the bios update resolves the wifi issue, more stable and much faster. Still has issue with bluetooth slowing the wifi drastically however 🙁
July 29, 2016 at 2:43 pm #45030I wonder if Chuwi are shipping the Vi10 plus with Remix 3.0. And also if they are using the same digitizer from the Surface 3 for the Vi10 plus. Currently no Surface 3 touch screen drivers for Linux so I wonder how they’ve got round that one if that’s the case.
July 27, 2016 at 6:50 am #44660Thanks for confirming Andy, yeah isn’t as bad as other cheap panels i’ve used and it is less noticeable after the panel has ‘warmed’ up. The colours are pretty accurate compared to the iwork 10 so it’s a fair trade off 🙂
July 25, 2016 at 9:13 am #44391I have noticed sluggish performance too, compared to the Hibook which seems ‘snappier’ with general use.
July 23, 2016 at 3:46 pm #44294Hi Warren I found your post about the LCD being glued to the frame and hard to get off so I won’t push my luck anymore with trying to do that! Good luck fixing your broken model 🙂
July 22, 2016 at 11:13 am #44186Hair near top of screen 🙁

Bit nerve wracking but bent it back successfully, few marks on the casing (used pliers) but it’s going in a case anyway. It’s quite a weak point where the keyboard joins, I can see what you mean about it getting bent easily.
Managed to trap a hair inbetween the digitizer and LCD near the top, any tips on removing it or best to leave it? Thanks for your help 🙂

When you dismantle it is the rear casing seperate from the mainboard/screen or is the mainboard sat in the rear casing? Seller is offering compensation so am thinking of keeping it and trying to bend back as tablet seems to function ok. Is it difficult to dismantle/put back together?

July 16, 2016 at 6:45 pm #43659I have just received my usb c version today, can confirm it’s a Hynix eMMC, a lot faster than my Hi8 with the bwin so not too disappointed with that. I am disappointed with the colour accuracy however, don’t know if they’re using different panels now as Youtube videos looked much better. It’s the blue that’s out, not too much but it’s noticeable. Other colours are ok. No problems with Sandisk Ultra 128gb yet (formatted as FAT32)
