Thank you! One more idea: can someone with the latest xx8 bios please check if hdmi works? Because that was the other change after struggling with the bad projector.

As some of you may know (or not know), I ordered a tablet from Geekbuying and it was faulty. As I am in the process of going to get my money back, and as most of you have received your tablets, what is the best place to order a Chuwi HI10 that is NOT faulty? And worth my money?

As you still want the device, why don’t you request a replacement instead? Better for the shop and easier for you.

There are so many good android tablets out there, and prices are good too.. And there are so few windows ones… Why do you buy a Windows tablet when you actually need an Android tablet? And why do you want to dual-boot a tablet with so little hard drive capacity?

3M Fabric Braided Flat Micro USB Charger Data Sync Cable For Tablet Cellphone – because you always need a longer cable to charge while using.

You mean something like this one:

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-3ft-1M-2M-3M-Durable-Braided-Micro-USB-Cable-Charger-Data-Sync-Cable-Cord-For/32409663663.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.1.moMMuk&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_7,searchweb201644_2_79_78_77_82_80_62_81_61,searchweb201560_4

Won’t be good enough, it has too much loss – charging will be way too slow for a battery this big.

You will need something like this one:

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ugreen-Micro-USB-cable-Fast-Charging-Adapter-5V2A-1m-2m-3m-Data-charger-Mobile-Phone-Cable/32391749504.html

This is the best cable I have come across until now, but still you might go for a 2m version instead for added stability in data transfer.

I think the most important accessory is a memory card because you will fill the 64 gigs very rapidly. With the memory card you can move your libraries to drive D: along with your installed apps, leaving C: for the system and for the apps (like Office 2016, Chrome) that need to be on Drive C.

What did you try? What options have you changed? Boot order, for example? You say you tried all the options but you need to be more specific so that we can help you.

Btw. I don’t understand why you think it is a dual boot tablet – it definitely isn’t, and it was not stated on any of the sales sites. This is exactly why i have ordered it – 64gigs are not enough for dual boot, it is hardly enough for Windows itself, still have to attach a memory card if you really want to use it for more than just watching some videos on youtube.

Viktor, I just tested my 128gb micro sandisk sdxc card. mine automatically mounts when I start up windows.

    Thanks a lot! I will order a 128 GB SDXC then 🙂

Thank you for the test! Do you have an SDXC card for testing compatibility? (Like 64 or 128 GB)

When you boot it up for the first time, does it start with account setup for Windows or it boots directly to desktop?

I just got the Hi10 yesterday. Don’t know if this is a unique problem or an issue with the model in general, but my tablet does not recognize SDXC cards. I have tried 64GB SanDisk and Samsung cards, but neither shows up.

Can you play around with different formats? You could format one of them (ideally the smaller one for a start) to exfat, fat32, ntfs to see if one of them works. I would really like to know the result (because I am waiting for my device). Thank you!

Don’t open a dispute just for the charger if you want to keep the device otherwise. Adapters cost nothing, here is one example:

    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-pcs-Europe-Australia-to-USA-Plug-Adapter-AC-Power-Travel-Converter-EU-AU-to-USA/32226760320.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.166.CX09DG&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_6,searchweb201644_2_79_78_77_82_80_62_81,searchweb201560_4

I am using that the other way around, I use several devices with US plug here in Europe (things I ordered online, including the laptop I am using right now to type this response). Just check the charger if 110 V is in its range (usually they cover something like 110-240V) as EU current has 230 volts.
