I always use special because vanilla does not boot.
November 18, 2019 at 7:49 pm #182088There is new version of ATB, version 78, which also supports touchpad and touchscreen, but it also freezes, even with new clean installation.
November 8, 2019 at 8:14 pm #182024Ok, btw, are you using Google Play and Android apps? My problem is, that rather instead of freezing, the display just goes black with only mouse pointer remaining.
November 7, 2019 at 8:27 pm #182015I run it from my SSD with multiboot, I have a plenty of other OS. Maybe I should try to use Cloudready instead.
btw, have you used also different image or swtpm?
November 5, 2019 at 7:56 pm #182002You are right, it works with FydeOS 8 as a base, but it freezes frequently. Does it run fine on your computer?
October 18, 2019 at 10:53 am #181867Hi. Sometimes my computer also restarts to BIOS, but mostly just when the battery is fully discharged. It also resets the boot order priority, when it selects another EFI boot entry, but I can just change that and it works.
Btw, I have the same SSD, I think it is the best we can buy now for our laptop.
July 29, 2019 at 8:53 pm #181419car le TS512GMTS430S serait compatible sur f6pro ?
Yes, it is compatible and it works very well. Of course, it is not NMVe, but I think it is one of the best SSDs for this notebook.
It was not necessary to reinstall anything, I just used USB adapter and dd-ed whole disk contents to a new disk 🙂
July 15, 2019 at 1:04 pm #181360I found another interesting and cheap SSD replacement TS512GMTS430S https://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-981 for great price 70 € in my local internet store in my city, so I just ordered it, cause its parameters are even better than my 240 GB MTS420 and the price was almost the same.
May 23, 2019 at 7:49 am #151932Interesting, with diffetent wifi dongle the problem does not exist at all.
May 6, 2019 at 8:47 pm #151645Okay, it seems that the freezing in Kubuntu was caused my by USB wifi dongle used for Mac OS 🙂 I found it after my Kubuntu did not freeze after suspend when I had my Manjaro USB inserted instead of wifi dongle 🙂
problem solved (partially)
May 6, 2019 at 8:37 pm #151644Interesting that sleep and wake works fine in Manjaro live USB with kernel 4.19. So it should work in Ubuntu too.
May 6, 2019 at 6:21 am #151638I tried changing the BIOS, but it seems that the settings are sometimes reset, so it has no sense to change anything.
Maybe your charger just does not support 12V/2A charging, what is interesting, because it should be PD charger. Anyway, my Anker works fine, I use it to charge every smart device I own.
April 30, 2019 at 8:43 am #151554Well, I found nothing useful. Interesting is, that when I tried live USB with Kubuntu 18.10, the screen is on after resume, but mouse and keyboard does not work.
When I tried live USB with Kubuntu 19.04, the screen, keyboard and mouse is off, I just see the non-moving cursor on black background.
April 25, 2019 at 7:58 pm #151509Okay, I got my Anker charger and it is my first USB charger that really works. So yes, we really need PD support, not QC.
April 21, 2019 at 4:16 pm #151449What?
