EZbook 3 Pro – How to unlock the BIOS

after flashing v6 bios the main tab it has disappeared, Is this normal?

@Giovanni, thanks for the reply but the Yepo is the same as the ezbook, some say comes from the same factory. It used to be unlocked and now is locked, i simply do not have the skills to do it myself. As its so similar could you not try it?
My Yepo bios looks very similar to v5 BIOS V5 Date 11/06/2017 14:30:19 Ver 3BANS010 JUMPER10x.P8.WP313P.NhNAUHL02
mine is YEPO10x.WP313R.NHNAUHL03

Thanks! I just read it.

And, how can I check that 15w is enabled? I´ve disabled limit in bios and I´ve used RW Everytihng tool to modify the memory. Any other step is needed?

How did you manage to lock it if it was unlocked?

I succefully flash v5 unlocked bios and then v6 unlocked bios (that I run to write this post). Thank you guys!

End of good news.

Bad news: touchpad still doesn’t work in Manjaro (but work flawlessy in my dual-booted Windows) as in factory locked bios.

If someone can help me to solve touchpad problem I can start a new thread if its goes too off topic.

Ps.: I already post this problem in manjaro official forum without solution.

Just wanted to say thanks for this post, and for the one regarding Keyboard lag. I successfully flashed my v6 bios using the one Bernd uploaded (thanks dude!) and it went through without a hitch. Also has an option in there to set what TDP you want. I’m waiting for my shims to arrive & to mod it before I move it up to 15w. I’ve been having a blast testing the limits of this lil machine thus far though, and it’s quite capable all things considered. Very glad with the purchase, and it was all thanks to this site and Chris’ videos on Youtube. Again, thanks for the Bios unlock info/files, and everything else. Looking forward to being a member of the community.

This is NOT a BIOS update, it’s only the same BIOS but with unlocked menus

There is another post in this forum regarding keyboard lag and a registry edit you can use to improve it. I like my keyboard a ton better now after applying that. Investigate that Vincent.

Is the V06 Bios from Bernd in any way different from the one of Giovannis inital post? Did you check on Bernds V06 Bios, if the TDP unlock works? Or is it still preview status? If so, wouldn’t it possible to flash on 3BANS010 machines a V04 Bios? (am i right, that the V04 Bios is unlocked by factory?)

Bernard’s BIOS is the same as mine. To fully unlock the TDP limit you have to make the RWeverything procedure at the first post.

Found the bottle to give this a go and succeeded! Thanks to everyone involved,I know that i dont have a ezbook but a Yepo (basically the same machine) but the bios trick worked and big thanks to all

Thanks! already flashed your modded bios! THX! I’ve set the CPU Power Limit in Bios to 15W. HWinfo says it worked. Also after some parallel 4K video playbacks,… the cpu seemed to consume about 14,679W max. Note: i did chris’ thermal fix (removed thermal pad and used copper plate and arctic silver)

Tomorrow I’ll try the RW hack.
